Has anyone got this lens. And what's your thoughts. I wanna get one for my nikon d3. Now i know there's the 16-35 and the 14-24. Its just they are out of my price range. So if you have an opinion please feel free 2 share.
Why do my photos have a black half moon at the bottom?
I have a Nikon D300 and a Tamron 18-200 lens. Sometimes when I use the pop up flash I get these half moon black spots at the bottom of the pictures. It's great lens but I'm still learning and I'm thinking of getting a new flash for the camera as well.
SERIOUS problems with my Nikon D300
I've had my D300 for about 10 months. Just reccently, I wanted to take some pictures and went to go get my camera. But when I turned it on, it gave me an error message, saying "lens is not attatched". I have NOT dropped it, the camera is still in perfect, new condition. Someone Please Please Please help me. This camera is my life!

I need a good, nice, affordable photography camera to start with. I recently just broke my camera, and I need a new one. Any suggestions? I have a budget of 518$ because I just returned the Nikon D300. Anything? I'm willing to buy on Ebay, or whatever! It doesn't matter if it's not a Nikon, it could be a Cannon? Or does anybody know where I could get a cheap Nikon D3100?

What Kind of DSLR Camera Should I Ask for Christmas?
My parents have agreed to buy me a camera for Christmas. I know I want a Nikon DSLR, but I'm unsure about which to ask for. My dad recently bought a Nikon D5000 and my good friend has a D300. Both are out of the price range I'm willing to ask my parents to purchase. I want a camera that is able to take awesome photos, in the daytime and night, and a fast shutter.
I'm not serious about photography from a career-standpoint, but I enjoy the hobby of photography, and have been interested in it for many years. I want to be able to learn more and take great photos. I know almost nothing about the features of cameras (except for mpx).

What Camera should I go for next?
I have a Canon 450D (Rebel Xsi) and a Nikon D90.
The camera's I'm looking at are the Canon 5D Mk II and Canon 7D or the Nikon D700.
Also I like the look of the 550D.
I'm planning to sell the D90 to put some money towards the other camera but can't decide which option to go for. I'm looking to set up my own photography business and the camera would mainly be used for portraits.
What do you guys think is the best option?
Added (1). Jens… I do prefer Canon but I had to buy a Nikon (the D90) for work and I did have a go with the D700 and really liked it.
I'm looking to set up my own business by next summer and looking to upgrade my camera before then.
Added (2). As far as lenses go I have a canon EF 50mm f/1.8 a Nikkor AF 50mm f/1.8 and a canon 18-55mm EFs
Would a hasleblad h4d50 camera be good for a beginer?
Hi its i'm an 12 year old girl and its my dream to be a photographer. So my dad bought me a nikon d3 because he said if i had the best stuff then i would be able to get better faster… But it has way too many controls and its too heavy to cary around all day. So people recommended me i get a hassleblad because it has less controls and is more user friendly.anyways, i told my dad about it and he said it looks like a really good choice and id pretty much be getting one of the best cameras available. He told me to think about it for a couple days and i really want it but he wants me to think about it because its kinda on the expensive side… So… I was just wondering what you guys think about it and if you can give any sort of advice
RE: My Nikon D300's card slot?
I have a Nikon D3000 SLR camera and there's something wrong with the memory card slot.
I have a feeling that someone has tried to put in an incompatible memory card in it because now when I put it into the slot, it will SOMETIMES only read it if I push on the thing that covers the slot.
It will only read it sometimes and I want to know if I can fix it myself, if so how and if I need it repaired, how much would it cost roughly.
