Slave flash or remote trigger?

I want to start to use flash with my photography. I don't know too much about flashes. I have a nikon D200. I found slave flashes which seem good(plus they are cheep) but i don't know if they are any good? Or should I get a real flash and just buy some wireless trigger for them.

I was looking at this for slave flash.
http://www.amazon.com/...004288M2Y/

Or is there anything else that is better?

And for real flashes and a cheep wireless trigger, I was looking at.

FLASH. Http://www.amazon.com/Nikon-SB-400-Speedlight-Digital-Cameras/dp/B000KKPN5C/

WIRELESS TRIGGER. Http://www.amazon.com/Wireless-Studio-RT-16-Trigger-Receivers/dp/B0034Z4PYK/

So if you know of anything that is good or would be better, then can you please help me. Thanks

Added (1). So are slave flashes any good? Or are they just a waste of money? Or should I just get normal flashes plus wireless trigger?

I want an advice for an slr camera.can you briefly compare or recommend these cameras?

I have a budget of $900. And i'm thinking of these cameras:

CANON: rebel xsi or t1i
NIKON: d40/d60 (which one would be better?) or d300 (but i want to know if it's already cheaper nowadays)

i really want the d60 or d300 because it's good but doesn't have a video? (i may be wrong) some friends recommended canon because the lenses would be less intricate than nikon. But i don't know, please give some advice on this. If i want with a video mode, i'm thinking of the t1i. But i'm still hesitant with that.i'm just a beginner and i'm not really familiar with all those terms.

please give some advice on this. What would be better for a newbie. And no "just go to this site"-advice.personal advices would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Added (1). I mean d3000**

about the cameras with videos:

what do you think would be better nikond3100 or d5000? And what would be the canon counterpart? And which one would be better?

Which D-SLR Camera: Nikon or Canon?

I'm a serious amateur photographer. I currently have a D5000 from Nikon with only the kit lens and an SB-400 Flash. I really like it, but I feel like I'm a bit limited with its "entry-level" feature set. I have some money saved up and I'm looking to get a mid-range to professional level D-SLR. I would like to get something like the Nikon D7000, D700, or Canon EOS 5D Mark II. Which one do you think I should get? Is there any specific reason to go with either brand? I will be photographing mostly travel, sports, and nature. Also, any suggestions for lenses?

Why do the Nikon cameras dramatically jump megapixels?

For example the D90 has 12.3 mp and is around 899$, the D700 has 12.1 and is 2699$ and then the D3x has 24.5mp and is 7999$ I'm interested in buying a camera for around 2500 or less, I'm amateur but really looking for a camera better than decent but obviously the the best one due to budget. I'm starting to lean towards canon just because this megapixel jump is really odd. It's like you either get 12mp or 24.5mp and this seems a little strange to me.

Compact Flash cards with my Nikon D300?

I'm renting a D300 tomorrow for a wedding. I normally shoot with a D40x, which uses SD cards. So since the D300 uses compact flash cards, I'm not used to knowing how many pictures each GB will hold? I'm not using the camera the entire time, only during the ceremony. Then for the party, switching to my D40x. If I'm shooting in RAW, estimate how many pictures I could get with a 8gb please?

Flash Pictures too Warm?

I'm new to flash photography. I recently bought a Vivitar DF 383 to use with my Nikon D700. I use the built in diffuser a lot to soften harsh shadows, with a shutter speed of 1/60 and f stop between 5.6 and 8 depending on the desired depth of field. I've noticed that many of my photos (especially those taking in large rooms) have an orange cast to them. Any ideas why this is, and how I can correct the problem?

What does full frame mean in camera lingo?

For instance I know the Nikon D3 shoots full frame. But what does this mean? Tell me everything you know about the term full frame, and then also a dummy definition! And if there's a link that you can post to an example of a picture taken with a full frame vs.without that would be helpful!
