Should I trade my Nikon D7200 for a D800?

My dad is upgrading his camera from a Nikon D800. He wants to give me his D800 but wants my D7200 in trade so it doesn't look too much like he is playing favorites with my siblings. I would love a full format camera but its 7 years old compared to my 4 year old D7200. Given how fast technology moves is this trade really that good or am I better off holding onto my D7200 until I can afford to upgrade to a new full format (probably years away? Both cameras are in good condition and switching lens (DX to FX) isn't a concern.

What are some good, low-budget telescopes for astrophotography?

I'm looking at getting a telescope so I can do some astrophotography with my DSLR. But I'm really stumped on what I should get. I'd like to get a GoTo Telescope, which tracks and finds objects for you so you don't have to manually find it yourself. I'd like something that would be able to capture planets of our solar system, nebulas, and galaxies. It must be able to support the weight of my DSLR, which is a Nikon D800. I do not want to spend a bunch of money on a telescope, so I'm looking at cheaper options. I want to make sure that I enjoy it and/or can figure out how to do it before dropping money on a nice, more expensive telescope. I'd prefer not to spend more than $500.

I have been looking at this telescope. Any opinions on it?

I know very little about telescopes so any information would be greatly appreciated.

How to use a Manual flash on Nikon D300?

I have an older manual flash that connects via the PC Sync port (the trigger voltage is 6v so it is safe) so when I plug it in and take a photo, the flash does not fire. The test button fires the flash so I know the bulb is ok.

I have also tried the pc sync to hot shoe adapter on a couple of Nikon cameras and it still does not work.

Is there a menu setting on the camera that I need to set for manual flash mode? I know there's a setting for manual lenses is it the same for a flash?
