Photokina is a bi-annual event and it was just held so no photokina in 2011.

Rumours of a d700 successor have been floating around for some time but nothing really solid. My guess… Introduction march/april and more video features.

Pure speculation… The new models will be a D700x (marketed in the US as a D700s), a new D400 to replace the D300 and a replacement for the D90 (possibly named the D9000).
