Tokina 16-28.your thoughts?

Has anyone got this lens. And what's your thoughts. I wanna get one for my nikon d3. Now i know there's the 16-35 and the 14-24. Its just they are out of my price range. So if you have an opinion please feel free 2 share.

Of all the generic (third-party) lens makers, Tokina is the best. Tokina makes Pentax cameras and Hoya filters, so are well versed in producing high quality photo equipment.

Since the new 16-28 mm f/2.8 was specifically designed for full frame dSLR's, it should fit into your camera system quite well.

I would suggest you make some tests with the lens on your camera and see how it feels, when compared to the 16-35 mm or 14-24 mm lenses
