Ideas on choosing a DSLR camera?

I'm looking to get a dslr camera. It would be something i would be learning on but i'm looking to use with photoshop and my graphic design background. I don't care much about a movie mode and am not tied to just one brand. I've looked at the Canon rebel T2i & Nikon d5100 because they fall in a lower price range that i'm comfortable spending. I understand the higher price the better quality, but i'm sure there are great $600-$700 cameras. Thanks!
Any tough ts, ideas or past history with either Camera would be helpful

Computer Software for editing pictures with nikon cameras?

I have just purchased a nikon d3100 and i'm unsure of what the best editing program may be for this type of camera. I would like to be able to retouch details on my photos such as teeth whitening and not just change the contrast.

Do you need a professional video camera to sell your films?

Like I'm filming the film I'm creating with a Nikon d5100 digital camera and the quality so far looks GREAT. But is it possible to make money off of a camera like this? Because most of the films I see that make any money (even amateur wise) are 3, 000-5, 000 dollar video cameras.

What do you think? Is it required?

Photographs corrupted after downloading into the computer from Nikon D3200?

I bought a Nikon D3200 recently, and started to take snaps. I have Transcend SDHC Class 10 32gb card. Now when i see the pics on the camera they are perfectly fine, but when i download them into my computer, around 20% of the pictures are all corrupted. They are either chopped and rearranged like a jigsaw puzzle or the are grey boxes in some areas or they have are cut and have a different color altogether. I'm unable to understand what is the problem. I have formatted the card many times, both through computer or through the camera, but the problem remains. Do let me know what could be wrong and how do i correct that.

Nightclub/Party Photography

My friend has asked me to be the photographer at her party. It will be at a beer garden, with not much natural light and more "party" lights. I've never taken photos for a party before. I'm using a Nikon D3000 and I have 3 lenses: 18-55mm, 55-200mm (both Nikon) and 8-16mm Sigma Wide Angle lens. I don't have any external flashes yet. I was wondering what type of lens I should, and what techniques would be good to use.
I've never done this type of shooting before so any advice would be helpful!
