Choosing my first DSLR - Dilemma?
I'm so close to choosing my first DSLR but I'm in three minds and basically have 2 main questions: Is 1080p at 24p really better or necessary than 1080p at 20p and is a 921k/1, 040k screen more necessary/useful than a 230k screen.
I'm not sure if 24p at 1080p for the "film look" would be useful to me as I don't really plan on shooting any short films, for example, but having it may be a good feature to have if I do decide to shoot any short films or anything else along those lines in the future.
The three cameras I'm looking at are the Nikon D3100, Canon EOS 500d and Canon EOS 550d.
What's stopping me from buying the D3100 is really the 230k screen vs the higher resolution screens of the Canons but it shoots 1080p video at 24p.
What's stopping me from buying the 500d is the video shooting at 1080p but at 20p not 24p.
What's stopping me from buying the 550d is whether the high resolution screen and 1080p video at 24p are necessary.
If I was to buy the Nikon I would probably buy an additional lens - I was looking at the 50mm F1.8D AF Nikkor Lens. If I was to buy the 500d or 550d I would buy the Canon EF 50 mm f/1.8 II Lens but maybe later on in the year and later than if I bought the Nikon because of my budget, which is around £470 / $740.

With a Nikon d7000, which is more sensible to buy?
1. 18-105mm f/3.5-5.6 G ED VR
2.AF-S DX 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G VR + AF-S DX VR 55-200mm f/4-5.6G IF-ED
3.AF-S DX 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR II
4.AF-S DX 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G VR
5.AF-S DX 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G VR + AF-S DX 55-300mm f/4.5-5.6G ED VR
these are the packages that are offered, don't know which one to go for or, simply just buy the Nikon d7000 body and buy lens separately

Is Nikon AF Zoom-Nikkor 70-300mm f/4-5.6G (4.3x) Lens worth purchasing?
I'm using Nikon D90 with 18-105 mm lens and i'm looking for a cheap zoom lens. I want to know the pros and cons of Nikon AF Zoom-Nikkor 70-300mm f/4-5.6G (4.3x) Lens with respect to my camera. Please help and if someone can share sample pictures taken from this lens please do share that also.

Okay so I know that on a nikon d5100 the fisheye effect is built in an there's no need for a lens I was wondering how you put that effect on, I know how to put on the other effects but not that one any help? Please and thank you<3

How to set shutter speed on a nikon d5100?
So i wanna do some light grafitti with my nikon d5100. I know how to do everything BUT set the actual speed. If i try to take a picture it takes like one picture and doesn't give me time to do ANYTHING. HOW DO I FIX THIS!

Why doesn't my Nikon d5100 play back pictures?
I just bought a new Nikon d5100 and I was taking pictures on manual mode and when I went to go back and look at the pictures it showed a black screen. I changed the mode and took some pictures and I was able to see them after.
Is there a setting that I need to change that will let me play back the pictures when I'm using manual mode, or is there something else I need to do to fix this?

Can I use Wireless flash for Nikon D5100? Any other Nikon you would suggest me?
I read something about compatibility of wireless flash with D5100, but don't really get if I could use it with those wireless flash or not. I'm looking for a Nikon that would be suitable for both studio photography and landscape. I do not really need the video recording option, but it seems that all DSLR models have it. My budget is not much, something around 500 would be desirable so I could afford buying a lens too. Isn't it possible if I could just buy a body and a separate lens? What do you suggest?

Is 10.2 mega pixel camera enough?
I might be buying a 10.2 mega pixel Nikon d3000, but not sure if 10 is enough?

Why do videos I take on my DSLR play slow on my computer when I convert them?
Why do videos I take on my DSLR play slow on my computer when I convert them?
I have a Nikon D7000 (16.2MP 1080P) and I use it for pictures and video, I used to use NEFS but found they weren't at all improving the quality of my pictures.
My video I take on the camera and when I upload it to my computer through a SanDiskHC (8gb) it does come through and I copy them over to my computer which there's no problem with. The Problem occurs when I go to watch those video on either iTunes or Windows' Media player, and find that they come through and play in really bad quality, the footage plays really slow as in like roughly 10 frames per second which is very poor, as well as the sound quality being rubbish.
I want to know why this is and how I can prevent this from happening so I can take good quality films on my DSLR and be able to watch them in the same good quality on my computer.
Thank you in advance.
Added (1). @Jim, Hi thanks for your advice, I'm currently using an Alienware M15x 2.8GhZ I7 with an Nvidia Graphics card of 1.5gb and RAM at 6GB, So this is surprising, from what you're saying, I'll try my dad's computer and see if the problem persists. Cheers for your help!
