How much can I sell a Nikon D3000 for?

I have a Nikon D3000 DSLR camera that I just bought a few months ago. Sadly my parents decided to gift me a much newer model of a Nikon DSLR. So I'm looking to sell this one, to buy a camcorder or any such, for novice filmmaking. I just need estimates on prices, I bought it for 850$.It only has one lens 18mm-30mm with a carrying case and it has only been used once or twice.

Recommended lens for night photography? (Nikon)?

I've been doing some night photography lately and it's truly amazing. However, since I just started I've been shooting with a kit lens (NIKKOR 18-105mm DX VR Lens) and my D7000. I'm looking to see what type of lens would be of most benefit for my photography.

I'm looking for a lens that'll work on the crowd (portrait, group pics, etc) as well as the DJ.
I was looking into the AF-S NIKKOR 28mm f/1.8G Lens, what do you guys think? -- Feel free to recommend multiple lenses. Any other tips will be appreciated too.

Also, what type of flash would be recommended for this also?

My camera/macbook makes two copies of every photo?

I have a Nikon D90 which I use quite often, this has only just recently happened but when I upload my photos onto my macbook via iPhoto, it uploads two versions of every photo, one of a slightly light Hue, and one darker, I have tried turning this off, and looking in the handbook, but nothing. Any suggestions because its a pain when I upload them, and takes twice as long!

Nikon 50mm vs 18-55mm?

I currently have the Nikon D3100. I have had it for quite some time. I'm looking to purchase the 50mm 1.8D lens. Everyone says its a must have.

My question is what type of photographs can you take with the 50mm 1.8 opposed to the stock 18-55mm?

Using a lunch bag (thermal bag) as a camera bag for my nikon d3000?

I was going to spend £40 on a bag for my camera but bought this product:-

http://www.polargear.co.uk/index.php/2011/06/polar-gear-lunch/

it takes my camera and a 55-200mm lense attached and was £3.

i assume the bag is meant to keep food or liquid at a steady temperature, ie. Will keep cool drinks cool and warm drinks warm, but if not used for anything other than my camera (never had any liquid or food in it) would or could it cause my camera damage.
I'm 99% sure its fine but would like confirmation. Why spend £40 when i can get one for £3,
i would only use the bag when out and leave the zip slightly open to stop any condensation building up

I await your answer.thanks

Added (1). Thanks Briar, the bag will be in a small rucksack, so should be fine, thanks for your quick respone, available in homebargains if anyone is intrested. But i do agree that the Proper camera bags are better, as in they have the removable padding to suit lense/body etc.

Problems with Reverse Macro Photography?

I use Nikon D90 with 18-105 mm lens. I recently got reverse macro ring but i'm not able to work with it. I used manual mode but when i look through the viewfinder i can't see anything. If i click image then it turns out to a blank image. If i use the lens normally then there's no problem at all.
