70-200mm with Nikon D5100?

Will it perfectly work with the Nikon d5100, not full frame? Any suggestions?

All AF-S lenses will work 100% with the D5100

What lens, ie make and more info is good the focal lenfth alone means nothing.
Any old nikon mount lens will fit the D5100 but with varying degrees of compatibility.search for 'Nikon lens compatibility table'

Of course.
Why wouldn't you think it would?

Yes.
Since you have to ask, you don't need a $1, 500+ piece of glass.

Yes, it will. It's an AF-S lens therefore it works with the D5100 - this means it will autofocus. You can mount any full frame lenses on a cropped sensor body.
If you're talking about a different brand of 70-200mm, then Sigma and Tamron's 70-200mm F/2.8 lenses will mount the D5100 and work perfectly.

The only real compatibility issue that the 5100 has is that it does not have a focus motor, most modern lenses have focus motors inside the lens so you do not need to worry. Both the 70-200mm f/2.8 VRI and VRII have motors inside the lens so you will be able to use them, the Sigma and Tamron lenses also have motors inside the lens. The older 80-200 f/2.8 does not have a motor, so you will only be able to manually focus. The only issue with sensor size that you will encounter is that the focal range bumps up to 105-300mm, many professional photographers like using these lenses on a second crop frame camera (either D7000 or D300 normally) for the extra reach.
