70-200mm on a Nikon D5100?

I'm thinking about getting a 70-200mm for my Nikon D5100? Will The Quality be good? Any suggestions?

The lens is a fine Nikkor.

Whether your images will be of high quality has all to do with your skills using the camera and lens

Since you have to ask/since you don't know the answer to this question, you don't need a 70-200.

A 55-200 or 55-300 is all you need.

70-200mm is really is a great lens worth the hype. Given the well-documented close-focus issues, I was somewhat apprehensive. Very glad I purchased this lens. It is pleasantly hefty, sharper wide open than one can reasonably expect, focuses in an instant, and the VR is great.
