Dropped my Nikon D5100?

I recently dropped my d5100 and get the error message 'Error. Press shutter release button again.' it is still under warranty and you can't tell it has been dropped as there's no scratches etc, it is 4 months brand new. I know it is something to do with the mirror in the body as both of my lens are okay with my other camera. How much do you think nikon will charge if they figure out it has been accidental damage? Or do you think it will be free? Uk btw

Added (1). Btw i have been using the neck strap, it was on my side and i attatched my new lens and it fell of the side, i should of been more weary of where i was putting it down

What DSLR is right for me

I'm looking for a digital SLR camera that would be right for me. I'm looking to spend $800 and under, preferably under. I love photography and making videos. I currently have a regular camera that is 16 mega-pixels so i'm looking for something higher than tthat or egual to it if its worth it. Also, very good video quality as in 1080p is mandatory. ***This feature isn't mandatory but definatley a luxury: a flip out screen. I've been looking at the Nikon D3200 but i've hear its not as good as it seems. Also, I'm not very interested in the Canon T3i because everyone has it and I want something different.

Advice on best color film/ air travel with film?

I need some recommendations for a good color film. I've tried the basic kodak gold/fujicolor and it was just ehh. I'm going to be shooting nature/landscapes, from the window on an airplane, and some pictures of my cat. But mostly outside/airplane. I currently have been using Tri-X 400, but it is black and white.

Second, What is the best way to travel with film. I have flight from Pittsburgh to Chicago and would like to take film/film camerea with me as a carry on, along with my Nikon D3100 digital. Do I need any special bags and what are the procedures for going through security with it? I've flown hundreds of times but never with film. (When I was younger my mom would just put the film in our checked bags.

I need assistance in buying a new Nikon camera?

My current camera is a Nikon D3000, but I need a more professional camera. I also have these lens with it:
18-55mm
55-300mm
55-200mm (this one was bought online on a stupid case of false advertising)
60mm macro (Just bought it)

I want to buy a Nikon D7000, but before I do, I need to sell my current camera. I planned to sell the D3000 base with the 55-200mm lens and keep the other lens. But I only just found out that these lenses won't fit the D7000.

My first question is why would Nikon make all of their lenses different to their cameras. I also can't find out the measurements for my camera, so how would I be able to buy a new lens to fit it? I would also like advice on how I can go on about this situation.

If anyone would like to e-mail me for a discussion, my address is kookies7@hotmail.com. It would really be helpful, thank-you.

How to trigger multiple flashes at once?

I own a Nikon D7000, and recently I've been interested in strobist work. I don't have a lot of money to spend and want to work with multiple flashes, so I purchased the cheapest ones I could find. I bought 2 no-name brands.

I realized after though that I knew nothing about how to trigger these two wirelessly, or if was even possible. I want to position the two flashes on certain points in front of my subject and be able to press the shutter and both flashes go off simultaneously.

Based on stuff that I've read, I would need some sort of receiver and a trigger. Although I still have no idea how to sync these two together.

Should I sell my camera and get an iPad?

Ok so I'm really debating on selling my Nikon D5100 and buying an iPad 2. I just bought the camera 2 months ago and I have only used it like 4 times(once at my sisters graduation and then just around the house the other times). I bought it cause I really wanted one but I don't use it as much as I thought I would. I mean I'm moving to the city so I thought that I could take pictures there but I'm not moving there for another year or 2 and during those years it will be sitting at my parents house while I'm at college(I don't want to take it with me) but I have my iPhone and I use that much more cause it's always with me. So should I sell my Nikon? But then I don't want to sell it cause what if I sell it then I want it again? What should I do?

Please no negative answers

Worth upgrading from a Nikon D70 to a D80?

Well I've been using a Nikon D7000 for the past year as my primary camera, and LOVE it. Recently I purchased a second hand D70 for a good price as a back up to give my D7000 a break every once in a while. I think I've been kinda 'spoiled' by how quick and responsive the D7000 is, so I'm not impressed by the D70. I was thinking about selling the D70 and maybe upgrading to a D80? Do any of you have experience with these two cameras, and know if it's worth the time and money to get a better back up that won't cause so much frustration?

What camera should I upgrade my DSLR to?

I currently have a Nikon D5100, but am currently not pleased with it. I'm looking for a camera body to upgrade to, to replace mine. I currently have a 18-55mm, and 50mm lens. So I would prefer to have another Nikon; but it isn't a priority. I have held the D7000 and like the feel of it; but would like to know if there's anything better. I would like to keep the price to around $1000-1200.
