Nikkor 28-300mm 3.5 vr VS 70-300mm 4.5 vr?

Can anyone help me with this please?

I have been searching for one week to buy a FX lense for my Nikon D7000.
SO I'm really confused between (Nikkor 28-300mm f3.5, VS 70-300mm f4.5 ).
I need a zoom lens whose pictures are sharp.
another question is:
what is the different between f3.5 and f4.5, or which one is better.

With my best regards.

Built in flash still popping up on my nikon d3100 even if an external flash in?

Ok I got the Neewer tt560 flash for my camera. It was said to work with it find. But when I have it on Program it will flash, but the camera doesn't know it i guess cause it still puts it on a 2 to 3 second shutter speed. And then if I put it on portrait mode, the built in flash pops up. Also the flash works in M mode. But won't work in S1 or S2 mode. Is it broke? Or what? Others said it worked freat with the d3100. But I don't get it. It's not syncing with the camera I guess? If it will work, how do i get it to sync?

Added (1). What flash will work then? Other than the Nikon ones? I don't have the money to get something that cost that much.

UV Filter Shattered onto my lens

I'm the owner of a nikon d5000 and i bought a new lens last week it's a Tamron 18 - 200mm
I've been sick all week so i havn't had a good chance to shoot. I took the camera out of my bad this morning and screamed when i saw that the UV filter was shattered i freaked out. I took it off and cleaned most of the lens. There are still some parts of glass on the lens and also inside it?
Could i take it somewhere to get cleaned or something?
And do i NEED to buy a new filter?

How to take photos of my hamsters without flash?

My friend gave me a Nikon D3100 that he had for a bit. He lost the manual to it. That was fine by me, because I looked up how to use it online and got the hang of it pretty quickly and learned by taking photos etc and that's no problem. The problem is, my hamster gave birth awhile ago and I've been taking pictures of them day by day with the camera watching their growth & development. This is all fine and the photos look great, but I use flash when I take them. I'm afraid that when they finally open their eyes, which should be soon, that this will hurt them. The room I take the photos in is my bedroom where the cage also happens to be and it's very dark in here. When I take the photos I hold the hamster under a lamp and I have the fan lamp on as well and I STILL have to use flash. I tried turning the flash off but the photos look really dark. I don't want to have to go outside to take photos of them. ;_; Is there a way to take photos of them without flash whilst still having good photos?

Where to keep my things in college?

Ok so I'm starting college in the fall but I don't know where I should keep my expensive stuff? I'm going to a community college so everyone might be in and out of my room. I have a Nikon D5100 camera with extra thing for it($1, 000+) an iPad 2 64gb($500+) MacBook Pro($1, 500) So its about $2, 000 easily. I don't want them to get stolen! I was thinking of just bringing them everywhere I go but how? I could get a safe but I'm afraid someone might find a way to open it.
