Nikon Flash Gun/wedding

I'm looking to purchase a Flash Gun to use with my Nikon D7000. I have two weddings coming up and it would be very useful to have a flash gun to use, but at the moment I'm super tight for cash and I'm looking for cheap one approx no more than £150. I'm looking to get one to put me out for a couple of events to them be able to get a more expensive one.

I can't phsyically afford an expensive one right now, but anyway I'm a student photographer and I've been doing it for about 4 years now and I'm looking to get one. I need one that is easy(ish) to learn how to use, as I've had no experience with flash, other than studio lights.

I was also wondering if some people could help me with some tips for weddings photographs as I'm new to the whole scene:-)

Any feedback is appreciated.

Added (1). I would appreciate no sarcastic comments, I have photographed A LOT of events, just without a flash gun. I have been an assistant at 5 different weddings with professional photographers and have full capability with my camera and it's internal flash, I'm looking for advice for flash guns as I have no experience with them but can get by without them and also people need to start somewhere.

So to all the sarcastic people and people saying 'run' no. No I won't run, I'm a good photographer with full capability with what I have. I'm not stupid and I understand how it works. The weddings are also friends and family, therefore they know my situation.

Nikon d5100 problem?

I've had my nikon d5100 for about 6 months now and today i bought a new lense af-s nikkor 50mm 1:1.4g and i noticed inside the lense there's 8 little silver dots and and my nikon there's 7 i put the lens it was all fine. When i took it out and put my original lense back on i went to view the pictures and it said "can't display file" i click to delete it and it said "this memory card can't be used card may be damaged insert another card" I'm afraid that the lense might have done something and damaged my camara since the 8 donts don't match my cam, what to do it has never done that since i got it but today the day i put that lense on. Someone help i don't know what to do i put in differents memory cards i Have and it says the same Thing! What do you think it might be? Is it damaged?

Added (1). *edit* thank-you i didn't know what those where called the camara is still pretty new to me. I still don't get why it would say that error.

Best zoom lens for Nikon D5100?

I received the Nikon D5100 for fathers day and prior to this have had no experience with DSLR's so I'm very new to this. I have been shooting so much since getting it and reading everything I can to get experienced. An 18-55 lens came with the camera but I would like to be able to zoom some more. I'm not looking to break the bank, just get some more zoom to learn my camera better, even if it means I have to buy a more expensive lens a year from now. I appreciate your help.

What type of camera lens this is?

I inherited this lens from a late auntie's estate. Can anybody tell me what sort of lens it is and what sort of camera it belongs with?

Unfortunately I'm fairly confident it won't fit my DSLR which is a Nikon D3100 but i'm just curious to find out what camera this lens belongs to and how much it's worth.

Can I get a list of UWA lenses the autofocus with non-AF motor Nikons?

At first I thought that a lot of the (current) UWA don't autofocus with bodies with no motors for example the Tokina 12-24mm I which is why the II version was made so that it can autofocus with bodies without a motor and now I'm wondering what other lenses did I pass on that actually would autofocus without a motor. I recently bought a Sigma 10-20mm for my girlfriend to use on her D90 until I got myself a Nikon body. Being sure of myself that the lens won't autofocus with my new D3100 I was surprised that it in fact did.

Now that only leaves me with two lenses that I know of that will autofocus with non-motor bodies. This question is just for personal knowledge since I'm new to the Nikon brand and would like to learn more about it.

Added (1). Thanks Taylor! I really like the Tokina 11-16mm I had it when I used Canon. I forgot to specify for a list of non-Nikon lenses since I was already familiar with those at least!

So HSM for Sigma gives it away? For Tamron they all have (or do I look for "built-in motor")? Tokina I'm assuming is just a matter of versions of the lens lol I suppose the first versions like the 12-24 and 11-16 weren't meant for Nikon until their second ones.

Will the nikon SB 700 flash work with my d3100? Nikon only list the 600 and the 900?

Want to make sure it will sync and all in all modes and not just in M mode. Thanks!

Added (1). I mean that I want to make sure that my camera will see that there's a flash on it… And not try to have the other one pop up.
