Worth upgrading from a Nikon D70 to a D80?

Well I've been using a Nikon D7000 for the past year as my primary camera, and LOVE it. Recently I purchased a second hand D70 for a good price as a back up to give my D7000 a break every once in a while. I think I've been kinda 'spoiled' by how quick and responsive the D7000 is, so I'm not impressed by the D70. I was thinking about selling the D70 and maybe upgrading to a D80? Do any of you have experience with these two cameras, and know if it's worth the time and money to get a better back up that won't cause so much frustration?

You got money to burn!

Buy a 2nd D7000 body.

As long as you don't do a lot of shooting at high ISOs, then you'll be happy with the 80. Your 7000 is a direct descendant of the D70, 80 and 90.

Either get the 80 or, better yet, a used 90. You could easily find a used (in good condition) 90 for about 600 bucks. If that's too expensive, get the 80.

Only if you need it to work with the older lenses that's the only reason I got my d80 my mum has the d40x and tbh the difference in them 2 is very small

I'd go for a D90.

Look for a good used D90.

In my opinion a D90 would be a better choice. The D7000 is the replacement for the D90.
