I want to get a Nikon DSLR camera which one?
So i want to buy my 1st nikon DSLR camera i have had other cameras that were not so good like polaroid and stuff but now i'm really in to photography and i'm experienced in it too! So i want a camera that is under $1, 000 but not over $900.00 and i want really good picture quality and good features too i don't really care as much about the video just the pictures and i would like to have auto focus. So which camera is right for me? Can anyone please help me?
Shot any film (or slides) lately?
And did you upload any of it? Can I see it?
I'm planning on dusting off my Nikon F80 and shooting off a few rolls, mainly to keep the camera functional and also to give myself a little challenge by going back to basics.
Might even try black and white, as I don't think I've ever even tried it.
If you do upload, do you adjust anything (brightness, contrast, cropping, etc.)?
Added (1). Nice photos, guys! Tim, those are wonderful landscapes.
What's a better camera to get a nikon or canon?
I want to buy a camera i want to be a photographer (sports/nature) so i want to know what camera is the best, but can you guys give me details and everything i would really appreciate it!
I'm looking into buying a camera for myself this Christmas (well it would be a gift for me from parents) but I need to know what I want. I really love the Nikon 311 with the zoom lens it comes to almost $800. I love big cameras and noticed this is not as large as i expected. I have not really looked into the Cannon Rebel because I know Nikon is usually a better quality picture? Help me please, It would be my first real camera. BUT! I have used friends cameras many times in the past to take cool pictures. I want a camera that takes professional pictures of people, and nature. So please let me know what you think. Link included are a plus!
How to shoot a Maternity session?
My friend is due in November and had asked me to do a maternity shoot for her. I'm not a professional and I've never went to school for photography. However, I do own a Nikon DSLR. I just like taking pictures for the fun of it and I'm trying to learn from experience. I've never done a maternity shoot before so if anybody has any input they'd like to share, please do!
They prefer to do the pictures in there house instead of outside. Her man might not be home so it would just be pictures of her. What should she wear? What kind of poses and props should I use? I've been looking up maternity photos on google and getting some ideas from on there. I would really appreciate the input!
What's the difference between a 7mm and an 8mm fisheye lens?
Both for Nikon, and both say 180-degree field of view, so where's the 1mm difference?
8mm: http://rokinon.com/product.php?id=8
7mm: http://www.cameta.com/Vivitar-Series-1-7mm-f-3-5-Fisheye-Manual-Focus-Lens-for-Nikon-Cameras-42593.cfm
I bought a Nikon SLR recently. I have KIT lens, 18-105MM and another 50MM 1.8G. I'm looking to do some night skyline photography in Boston and wondering what lens I need to buy. I do have a tripod.
Is the Rokinon 85mm f/1.4 MF lens worth getting?
In terms of optical performance and built? I do understand its a Manual-Focus lens, and willing to use it with that.
How does it compare with the Nikon 85mm f/1.4?
I'd like to find out what type of film is needed for an old Nikon M2000. I don't know much about cameras like these and you was wondering if it's possible to still be able to purchase the film for this old camera. A link will be much appreciated.
I'm looking to buy a camera worth 500 euro. And 500 euro lens. Which would be the best quality camera, canon, nikon?
