What's a better camera to get a nikon or canon?

I want to buy a camera i want to be a photographer (sports/nature) so i want to know what camera is the best, but can you guys give me details and everything i would really appreciate it!

Cannon over nikon anyday… Especially if you can afford a 10 d or a 20d… The picture quality is so much better cleaner and more shots end up being usable… There's a reason nfl photographers use cannon… Simple to use great battery life and quite simply the best option

If you look along the sidelines of sports, you will see pros using both Nikon and Canon cameras.

Which is best for you, is up to you.

Most of the staffers use Canon cameras because that is what they are supplied.
