How to upload pictures onto your computer with a Nikon D50?
I can't figure it out!

I recently purchased a Nikon D3000 which came with the 18-55mm lens. I'm new to photography and have been playing with my camera, learning about all of the functions and so forth. I would like to be able to zoom for event such as concerts, sporting events, vacations; times when I can't be close to the subject. I know that the next Nikkor lens would be the 55-200mm, however I'm wondering if this will be the best thing for what I'm looking to do. When reading the product descriptions of lenses I get a little lost being new to photography.

Good all around 18-55mm Nikon AF lens?
I'm an amateur photographer. I have a hobby in it, but am majoring video and film production. I have a DSLR camera - Nikon D40x, currently with a 50mm Manual Focus lens on it.
I'm looking for a good auto focus lens that gives a little zoom for "normal" situations, and because my budget is fairly low.
I was wondering if any DSLR enthusiasts could tell me if this lens would be a good purchase for an amateur photographer:

Thanks
Added (1). I would not consider myself a professional photographer. I'm just looking for a good lens that will help take a good shot. As said before, this is a hobby of mine.
Added (2). Also, I'm specifically looking for a lens that has AutoFocus (my current does not, and some pics come out blurry) and is wide angle. I've had too many issues with using a non-wide angle lens. What I have is nice, but not so great for many things I do.

How to use Canon Speedlite 200e with Nikon D3000?
I have my moms old film camera and the canon speedlite 200e. I also have a Nikon d3000 and just found out today that the flash fits on the d3000 and when i take a picture it flashes. If i'm on the auto option, the built in flash tries to pop up. So basically, the speedlite just flashes every time, and i want ot no if i can change that to make it work more like the built in flash.

Which speedlight flash to buy for Nikon D60?
I'm thinking to buy one of those speedlights for nikon, but I have no idea how to distinguish them… Please recommend me one!

Why does my camera have different dimensions for the same RAW and JPEG file?
I take pictures as NEF+JPG on a few occasions. I noticed that the pairs of photos will come out as follows:
JPEG dimensions 4288x2848
NEF 4310x2868
Any idea why this happens?
BTW Nikon D90 at 12 Megapixels
Added (1). The JPEGs are are Large, Fine.

Nikon d3000 auto and auto flash problems
Beyond my general comprehension of auto and auto flash settings, i can't get my camera to take pictures in auto focus mode or auto flash. Even when it is in manual mode, the flash will not work.
again, i understand majority of the general settings and how to operate it, but either there's something wrong with the camera, or i or a friend may have messed with the settings and it is no longer working.
i'm not really savvy with this camera stuff so if you have any answers that may be useful, please try to explain them to me as if i were in kindergarten, 10pts best.
