How to upload pictures onto your computer with a Nikon D50?

I can't figure it out!

Take the memory card out of the camera.
Insert it into a card reader. Either one that is on your computer or a USB 2.0 card reader you can buy for under $10.
Those of us who have been using digital cameras for nearly a decade stopped downloading our images from our cameras a few weeks after buying them. Card readers just copy image files much faster and have far less issues than using a USB cord from camera to computer

Also, its better not to download from the camera because it will save your battery life as well. Transferring photos directly from the camera definitely drains the battery quickly.

One more thing about downloading from the camera, it uses up the lifespan of the camera. Everything dies, including electronics. If you're downloading from the camera, you're using some % of the cameras expected service life. A card reader is cheap compared to a camera.
