A good travel tripod for DSLR? - 1
I want to get a a light weight travel tripod for my Nikon D60. Looking at a few travel tripods on amazon and their reviews, i got the feeling light weight ones don't often support DSLRs. Is there any reliable light weight ones that are reliable?
Shutter speed and aperture? Nikon D5000?
I'm doing a photoshoot later with my friend, it's going to be Autumn-themed. One of the picture's I've planned would be with leaves falling all around her. But I'm kind of stuck on how to get this photo. Could someone help me with shutter speed and aperture for this? I have a Nikon D5000. Also, would you get the model to throw the leaves, or would you throw the leaves over her?
What lenses are compatible with my Nikon D90?
I've Recently Bought a d90. I'm a little confused with what is compatible with it. I've come from an Olympus E-30 so I'm a newbie to the Nikkor range. I'm looking into a wide angle Lens and a Macro. Does anyone have any suggestions on a decent lens for each for cheap-ish?
I currently have a D40X and I'm thinking about upgrading to the D3100.

I think it's fast, but how many RAW file can I take with the D3100 approximately? The Nikon D40X is 10.2MP, and the D3100 is 14.2MP.

Nikon d5000 memory card access lamp will not stop blinking?
My d5000 card access lamp will not stop blinking only when its turn off. It can only be solve when i remove the memory card while its turn off. Can anyone help me?
Why doesn't the time and date appear on my photos anymore?
When the camera(Nikon D40) was new the time and date appeared in the lower right hand side of my photos but that stopped abruptly.
How to get this lighting setting?
I really love pictures with this type of setting/lighting. Does anyone know how to put it? I have a nikon d5000

Photography help! I have a nikon 35mm camera, and a nikon D3000?
I love the way my pictures come out when i use the 35mm lens on the 35mm film nikon camera, and i'd like to use it on my Nikon D3000 DSLR. I've tried just taking the lens and putting it on my D3000 DSLR but it says no lens attached when it clearly is. The lens fits and even locks in place, but i guess my digital dslr doesn't recognize it. Is there any adapters i can use or something so i can use my nikon 35mm lens on my nikon D3000 DSLR? Please and thank you!

I have a Nikon D70s, and I'm looking into a new lens for indoor photography. I need something that will zoom (somewhat) and that is cheap. Would this work well?
