How to get this lighting setting?

I really love pictures with this type of setting/lighting. Does anyone know how to put it? I have a nikon d5000

Sit someone infront of a bright window on a bright day

- its called window light

It is done in ambient light. All the light is coming through the window and is diffused, not direct sunlight.
Check the exif data of the photo to get the exposure settings.
