I have a Nikon D60 and I'm having trouble with portraits and bringing everyone into focus?
I use a Nikon d60 for my photography and the majority of portraits that I do for people are group shots. I'm having trouble bringing everyone in the photo into focus, or at least making everyone sharp. Help please!
Added (1). I'm using a Nikkor 18-55 mm 1:3.5-5.6 lens
Should I be cautious about buying one? I really want a Nikon D3000 which run about $500, and all the refurbished ones I see are like $400. I'm just really worried I'm going to be disappointed when I get it and starts falling apart when I take a picture, lol.

So i'm an entry level photographer and i'm planing to buy either a nikon d3100 or a canon t1i. I know the nikon was recently released and i'm wondering when the canon t1i successor will come out.

I want a Nikon d40 for christmas, but its discontinued. Will it be a bad idea to buy it without holding it and stuff?(i hear you should see the camera in person before buying)?

Manual Mode on Nikon D3000? - 1
When I take photos on manual mode, like for example running water… To get that soft look… They always seem to come out blue-ish! My photography teacher doesn't know why either! If anyone knows why please help!

Sun blending in with sky on pictures?
I use the Nikon D3000
and i keep trying to take sun shots of me, and like the sun hits the back of my head and does the flare thingy
but it just blends in with the sky!
