How much humidity can my Nikon D90 DSLR stand?
I'm going to Kauai (Hawaiian Islands) this Saturday (November Break). Will the humidity and weather there screw up my body and lenses? Anything I should bring to prevent damage? Yay or nay?

Best lens (es) for Nikon D90 DSLR?
I just purchased a used D90 DSLR, but I'm confused as to what kind of lens I should buy that goes with it. I'm just a beginner and I've been exeprimenting with point-and-shoot cameras for the past 2 yrs and this is a significant leap from there. I'm looking for something not that expensive and I mostly shoot portraits and landscapes.
Any good suggestions people?

Taking pictures of really dark objects with Nikon D40?
I have a project for one of my courses that requires me to take a picture of a constellation, since this is the best camera I can borrow off my friends I attempted to take a picture of a different constellation just to test out the camera, but it constantly tells me that the "object is too dark" no matter what mode I try, is there a suggestion on how I can take a picture of a constellation? The specs are on this site http://www.kenrockwell.com/...on/d40.htm

I have a Nikon D90 with a few lenses (18-105 f3.5/5.6, 70-300 f4/5.6, 35 f1.8). I would like to be able to take a picture of a galaxy, say andromeda or something, but I'd prefer to use just a tripod. Is this possible? How do I do it? What exposure settings should I use?
Thanks =]
Added (1). I do have an old ETX 90 or something hiding away in a closet. I think that can track stars. What kind of exposure settings do I need to take pictures of DSOs? (Aperture, Shutter and ISO)
