Best Digital Camera for high School Student?
I'm a senior in high school right now and I need a new camera for my senior activities like senior ball and gradnite. I'm thinking about sony, canon, or nikon. Which are the best models? Should i get a dslr, sony micro four-thirds, or just a point and shoot? I'm willing to spend up to $600.

I'm buying a Canon 7D in 2 hours - portrait lens
I'm about to buy a Canon 7D DSLR. I'm beginning photography but I'm a really fast learner. My main type of photography will be portrait and people. Also events in night clubs. What accessories should I buy? I know I need a light diffuser and stuff like that but which one is good? Also what lens specs should I get. I want to be able to take close ups if I'm kind of far away as well. I want it to look as professional as possible as I develop my eye -- like commercial grade stuff. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance. I bought the Nikon 5000 but don't really like it and was told it was a beginner camera but Best Buy has a special for 3 years no interest so I have plenty of time to develop my skill with a great camera.
What would be the right camera for me?
I want to buy a Nikon DSLR camera.
I would like a small one, perhaps the smallest that they do, that takes good pictures, I'm not worried about recording films. I just want a small, dslr by nikon that takes good high quality pictures. With good focus and that.
I'm willing to pay just over 400 pounds.
How to get an auto focus motor on a non auto focus Nikon DLSR?
Maybe an add on, where the lens mounts to the camera. Or maybe a way to take the camera apart, and physically add it in yourself.
Will Nikon fix my lens under Manufactures Warranty?
I bought the nikon 70-300mm VR lens from B. Buy and had it for like two weeks and now its not working properly. Basically, the lens will not autofocus. It still takes great pictures and works like it would on manual focus, but when its on auto. If you jiggle the lens, you can hear something internally moving and shaking around but thats all I know. Just bought the lens and nothing else, and can't take it back. Will Nikon fix it for me by any chance under the manufactures warranty?
I'd like to get a Nikon slr camera, but I have a budget of around 500 or under. I'd like one with good quality and focus. I'm new with slr's so any help?
