Is a Nikon 1 Camera worth the 500-600$ price tag?
I've been looking around for a new camera. I want good quality pictures from a DSLR but I want something compact like point and shoots. Would the Nikon 1 be a good choice?
I found both of them at a store which thry both have the same price, so i want to know which one should I get? What are the pros and cons? Is it a big deal between Center-weighted average metering and Mattix metering mode? Are there any alternatives?
Is it Okay, that It's taken 53 K? Does it take much better pics than D 40?

Why doesn't my new 32 gb memory card for my Nikon camara work?
I bought a Nikon camara yesterday with a 32 gb memory card and the camara was working fine. Today I used it and it was working fine and I turned it on again and it told me that my memory card diddnt work it said to use a different one because that one could get damaged. I don't know why, I need help!
How to know if my film actually caught onto my camera?
I use a nikon fm10 film camera for my black and white photo class. I was doing my photo assignment and my film went all the way to 36 and kept letting me take pictures. I had a roll of 24.So after it got to the last number on the amount of pictures dial, I rewound it. It didn't have the normal tension film should have when rewinding, but it rewound anyways. Did my film actually catch on when I loaded it? Or are none of my pictures going to come out? I'd like to know if this has happened to anyone.
Is it hard to switch from Nikon to Canon?
I'm not going to do it anytime soon since I'm just a beginning photographer, but when I get more serious, I might find that Canon is better than Nikon for my photos. How difficult is the switch? Is it hard to adjust to the new camera style?
Computer won't detect my camera?
I can't see my camera pics on the computer because it can't detect it.
i've tried going to my computer, and clicked on the camera folder. But there's no pictures in the folder.what's wrong with my camera? I have a Nikon s3100
Nikon and problems with record time?
I just recently purchased the Nikon L810 and I do love it but it is my first camera and I'm pretty confused… I read the manual but it's not fixed my problem… Online it says no matter what SD card it will record at the most 29 minutes but it only records 30 seconds on HD 720p and 1 minute on VGA:-S I'm so confused how do I get it to record for 29 minutes…
