Why is the Nikon 24-85 2.8 so much cheaper then Nikon 24-70 2.8?
I would think it would be more expensive seeing as it zooms further. They both have aperture of 2.8 and are both for FX format cameras… So why is the 24-85 $1, 300.00 cheaper!
Thanks guys!
Added (1). OMG thank you. I completely undertand now. Wow.
Was I right to buy this cameraa?
I recently bought the Nikon L810 I love it there's nothing wrong with it and I haven't used it much at all yet as I've been waiting for the memory card to come but originally I was stuck between the Canon SX30 IS or Nikon L810 I went with the Nikon because it was smaller and had better image quality I need it mainly for videos and some pictures also I was concerned with the Canon being a little older… Was I right to go with the Nikon D:?
So I have the talent of taking good pictures. But I don't really know a lot about professional cameras. The only thing I may know is that the best 2 brand names are nikon and canon…
I just want to know what model of nikon should I buy?!
Added (1). With an acceptable price xP

I was thinkin $175.also, what scope would you recommend for the vg1? I was thinking a nikon pro staff. Is this a good scope?
I wanted to know that nikon l120 or nikon l26 is better
Which is better for point and shoot, Nikon or Canon?
Particularly, I'm looking at Canon PowerShot SX260 HS 12.1MP Digital Camera with 20x Optical Zoom and Nikon S8200 16.1MP Digital Camera with 14x Optical Zoom. The Nikon is cheaper (by $30), and it has a better MP; Canon has more zoom capabilities. I'm not sure if zoom or mp is better when choosing a point and shoot, or which brand is better for this type of camera. What I want to do with the camera is take pictures when traveling (mainly) in addition to pictures of people.
What is the difference between a Nikon AF-S 50mm f/1.8G and a Nikon AF-S 35mm f/1.8g lens?
My wife is looking at buying a lens for her camera. She takes photos in area. Which aren't always well lit, she needs a lens which will perform in dark areas and also in the light. She takes photos in hospital rooms during birth and also pregnancy shots and then the newborn shoots. Does anybody have any feedback?
Is Nikon's proper pronunciation 'Nick-on' or 'Nike-on'?
I'm almost certain it's 'Nick-on'…
Nikon D-60 Camera lens broke off?
So today I was taking photos of my frog and I dropped my nikon camera remote so I bent over to pick it up and my but accidentally hit my tripod and fell to the ground(hardwood floor) and my lens fell off. What can I do? Do I need to buy a new lens or is this fixable? I turned on the camera and everything works fine, just no more lens.
I want something below 500$ for sure, and I want it to be able to take videos, but I want something as cheap as possible!
