What camera is best for me? - 1
I'm a bit of a camera novice! But i'm really looking for a professional camera, it sounds stupid but i really want one of those big black ones! I'm looking to take photos of animals (horses) and friends and family, i really want to get Professional looking shots though. My ideal makes would probbly be cannon nikon or fuji (not sure how its spelt) because i've heard good things avout them. As i will probaly breaki it in a couple of years no more than £400, any ideas?

Which Micro System Camera Is For Me?
I'm downgrading from my Canon 50D to something more small and easy to carry around.
I want something that will take clear 4x6 to 8x10 shots.
Preferably 12MP or higher.
A viewfinder and interchangeable lens are a must.
And it must also shoot RAW images.
I want something that has minimal noise.
I have looked at 3 different cameras and have come close to buying each one at a point but didn't.
These were most recent to least:
Panasonic Lumix DMC-GX1 (Dislikes: No viewfinder and has a touchscreen)
Olympus PEN E-PM1 (Dislikes: No viewfinder and sample photos were too noisy)
Nikon 1 J1 (Dislikes: No viewfinder and too small of MP)
The Panasonic is the one I'm leaning most towards but I'd like to know if anyone knows of a comparable camera with a viewfinder? I don't want to spend an additional $100 or more for some EVF.
My price limit is $900.
Change Canon rebel for Fujifilm X100?
So I like the Canon and I didn't buy any lenses for it yet. I use old medium format lenses which are very hard to use but I don't know wheather to buy some lenses or which to the Fuji. The Fuji may suit me better because its small and quiet. I feel like it will be with me more often than the Canon and its way less intrusive. Also with the Canon I'm having such a hard time finding a lens that I like. I like wide, fast and sharp which Canon doesn't sell an affordable variation and the Fuji is just that. What do you think? Even with Nikon I could point out the first lenses I would get. I'm very hesitent to get invested in Canon equiptment eventhough its such a pain to sell it.
Added (1). I always feel like the rebels always going to break. Its very plasticy.
This Nikon, which was working fine a few weeks ago is now taking extremely discoloured and under exposed photos on the Auto setting. This is my mother's camera so I don't know for sure if it was dropped. I'm thinking the IR filter on the sensor may have come off. I hear some type of rattling from within the camera.

What would be the best generic speed light for a nikon 5100?
I just bought a nikon 5100. Can't really afford the SB 700 or sb 900 flash… Any recommendations for a good generic or what's best for this camera?
An olympus camera with a nikon lens?
Could I take an olympus om10 camera and put a nikon 18-55mm lens on it? I have no idea about camera so I was thinking of buying the body of the olympus and putting my nikon lens on, would it fit/work?
I need a DSLR for mostly video purposes. Just want opinions on which you prefer, pros, cons, etc. Thank you.
Added (1). I do have an HD Sony Camcorder that shoots 1080p but I'm going to school in the fall for Film and Media and all of the cameras they have recommended are DSLRs, I haven't any idea why.
Does anyone have a Nikon D1500 DSLR camera?
So i'm searching for a new DSLR camera, and i looked through many many sites to find one with good quality pictures, good quality videos etc etc.i'm also looking for one with a built in fisheye effect. (because i don't want to have to buy a camera and a fisheye lens separately). On the nikon site it says the nikon d1500 camera has one, but i'm not so sure. Does it have the effect and if so is it good quality?
or do you know of another dslr camera of any brand that has good quality pictures/videos with a built in fisheye?
