Need Camera DSLR and lens buying advice
I'm looking into buying a nikon dslr for all different types of photos, scenic, indoor creative stuff, or just portraits. So what's the best nikon with a normal and macro lens for "general use" is there between 500-600 and 700-800. I have two price ranges because i don't know how much i can afford right now but any camera suggestions in this range would be great!
I also have a Nikon 28-105mm f/3.5-4.5D AF Nikkor Lens that was used for a slr camera so i was wondering if i could use this for a dslr and save money instead of buying another one. This is a macro lens right? I'm not sure so let me know if it is and if i could use it on a dslr that i purchase.

How to get the zoom barrel to extend on my zoom nikkor 35-200mm lens?
I just bought this lens but I didn't get a user manual with it

I'm an amateur photographer wanting to make the jump from Nikon to a Canon 60d. I really love my Nikkor 50mm f/1.4 prime lens, but having to sell it just to buy the Canon equivalent just seems like kind of a hassle. Would I get the same results using the Nikkor 1.4 lens with an adapter as I would the Canon equivalent?
NOTE: DO NOT tell me that one brand is better than the other. I've done enough research to match which brand works best for ME.
Camera lens adapter- Nikkor lens, Panasonic Lumix DMC-G10?
I've got a really nice zoom lens from a 1960s-era Nikon camera. I just bought a Panasonic Lumix DMC-G10K. (Micro four thirds) Is there an adapter that will allow me to use the Nikon lens on the new camera? And if so, do you happen to know where I can get one?
Why is the nikkor 35mm f/2D more expensive than the nikkor 35mm f/1.8G?
Am I missing something here? What are the differences? Why would the f/2 cost more when the 1.8 is faster? I know the f/1.8 is AF-S while the f/2 is AF.

I have found this for sale at a good price with the kit-D3100, What would this lens be used for? Also for events, parties, weddings what would be the best lens for me to buy, the cheapest possible option as I have only just bought the kit so the great lenses will have to come at a later date!
