What IR filter should I pick?

I'm looking forward to buy a 52mm IR filter for my 18-55mm Nikkor lens. The problem is: I don't know the difference between: 720 nm, 850 nm, 950 nm, and so on. Can anybody explain me the effect of quantity of "nm" whatever this is. I already have a UV filter and a simple mc protector.

18-55mm vs 55-200mm for travel?

I'm currently having a 18-55mm Nikkor lens and a 55-200mm lens.
Problem is, I'm going to Egypt for a trip and I'm not keen on changing lenses outdoors due to the sand particles. Which lens should i equip?

Please advise me as I'm new to DSLR cameras.

Which adapter does my Nikon need so I can use my fisheye lens?

I recently bought a Nikon Fisheye Converter FC-E9 0.2x lens to test out. It came with a UR-E10 step-down ring lens adapter but it does not fit onto my current lens (AF-S DX Nikkor, 18-55mm). I'm still getting used to all this newer gear, so I have no clue what adapter I need to use. Does anyone know which one I need or where I can look it up? I've tried to google, but I'm pretty confused lol

Where to buy Tamron AF 90mm f/2.8 Di SP macro lens in Singapore?

Anyone knows a good place in singapore where i can get a Tamron AF 90mm f/2.8 Di SP macro lens (nikon mount), preferably at a good price? Found some on Simlim for SGD400 with 3 years Tamron warranty but I'm reluctant to buy because they said there are alot of sellers up to no good. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance

Added (1). @Jim,

Thanks for the response… Actually i've been reading reviews from photographers pro and the like. The downside i was able to read about was that its a dust vacuum apparently, but as a lens for a beginner like me, a photographer and trusted friend said its worth its pricetag.

Would it be wise to switch form a nikkor 85mm f/1.8 to a 50mm f/1.4?

Is the quality prty much the same [with the exception of focal length]?
i just feel that 85mm is far too zoomed and just isn't so practical

Sigma 50-500mm vs Nikkor 80-400mm?

I was wondering which of these two lenses is better? I'm trying to decide between the Nikkor 80-400mm lens or the Sigma 50-500mm lens. I need a lot of zoom so either will work for me. What i'm trying to figure out though is which is better in terms of picture quality, handling, durability, etc? Its for sports/wildlife photography.
