I have a Nikon N6006 SLR, can I use the same lens on a digital Nikon SLR?
I want to buy a digital SLR, any recommendations on a Nikon model where I can use the same lens? The lens I have are AF Nikkor that fit my Nikon N6006 film SLR. Would appreciate any help.
Any nikon lens should fit any nikon body
Actually, it's, "Any nikon lens should fit any nikon body [AFTER 1977]" you can if before 1977, but will require an adapter.
It will fit any DSLR but to have autofocus you'll need at least a d90. Lucky for you that's now being sold out at nice prices.
If the Nikon N6006 is an autofocus camera (it sounds like it is), then yes, you should be able to use the same lens on any digital SLR (since they are also autofocus cameras).
