Micnova Extension Tube?

What do you think about this extension tube? Http://www.micnova.com/EN/product/auto_focus_extension_tube_set.html

It is cheaper than Kenko. My budget is limited.
I have a Nikkor 50mm f/1.8. Can I use this tube on 50mm?

You can use extension tubes with any lens.

To be honest, they look a bit cheap in comparison to Kenko extension tubes. But I guess if they do the job, then that is what matters - and not cosmetics.

The good thing about extension tubes is there are no optics - so one extension tube is more or less the same as every other - i.e. An empty tube.

Tubes - pural there are three of them you can use them in different combinations of macnifications,

they look good, extension tubes have no optics - as there's no glass in them, so quality wise they all give the same quality image, the construction might be less solid perhaps, they look good

i dopnt know if these or the kenkos are supposed to better than the other one, i would say grab them,

can you use with nikon 50mm yeah i'm pretty sure you can, make sure you get the AF-N for Nikon not the canon one

Be careful, some extension tubes can strip the gears on the lens…

especially the cheap ones… Kenko are more expensive because they are more reliable…

limited budget can equate to loss of working goods… Consider the more expensive option as an investment…

Depends again on what camera you are using… Never enough info. If you are using a manual camera, Nikon FM, F2, etc they will perform well, an extension tube is really just a spacer. It gets trickier on camera bodies that have electronic contacts, here a poorly designed piece could damage your camera or lens by shorting out or physically damaging the contact pins.
