Can I start a career in photography with a Kit DSLR?
I've had this kit for quite a while.
It's a Nikon d3000 along with a AF-S Nikkor 55-200mm and AF-S Nikkor 18-55mm VR. I've always been interested in Photography and now after spending a few years trying to find my niche in College I've decided on being a photographer. What type of Photographer is still up for debate however.
Though I'm finding it hard to make the effort to move forward. I don't want to enter college courses or attempt to get into freelance photography at a paper somewhere with gear that screams "Don't take me seriously!"
So do I need to invest in expensive gear to start down a photography career path, or am I exactly where I should be when it comes to gear?
D70s with old (er) Nikon Nikkor Lenses
I just purchased a Nikon D70s body and I'm looking for some lenses. A fellow from the area has offered to sell me his two Nikkor Lenses at a reasonable price however I just wanted to know if it would be worth it seeing as they are older models; he said he purchased them 1990. I've read a few things saying that the older Nikkor lenses are just as good, especially for someone like me, given they are in good condition. They are as follows:
Nikon Nikkor AF 70-210mm 1:4-5.6
Nikon Nikkor AF 35-70mm 1:3.3-4.5
I'm relatively new to photography and figured someone could help me out.
How to make better videos on the Nikon d7000?
The Nikon d7000 doesn't do videos in HD, and the frames per second are not that great. Is there any way to make the videos somewhat better through editing?
Nikon D7000 with 18-105 or 16-85?
I'll buy a prime lens too.
But obviously I won't be using it 24.7 so which of the two above is the best walk around lens? Also optically better?
Does the nikon D3100 with 18-55 mm lens kit come with batteries?

What is Nikon D90 about? Is it something special or different?
Whys everyone so crazy about d90. I know it is used in professionalism and as hobby but what are the speciality what does it have that other camera does not have in them or are there better cameras than this… My friends just love d90 each n one of them has the same camera… Of course with different lenses… So i would like to know why n wat reasons does person want this camera
