My camera doesn't work well in bright lighting Help! (Nikon D5000)?
I've been having problems with my camera recently it's a Nikon D5000, it really doesn't like working in bright outdoors lighting the colours are manipulated and they are really bad quality. I was wondering if there were any secret settings I didn't know about that I may of possibly changed.
Here are some pictures of what I mean (the are pictures all of me because I've been trying to take pictures for my blog of my outfits. And the last one has been edited, but i've trashed the majority of them and they were the only ones I could find)

Nikon D80 Flash not opening all the way?
When it's set to automatic, manual, or any setting, the flash does not open all the way. It seems to open half-way. This cause the flash to not occur UNLESS i push it all the way up and then it will flash. It seems to stop at half way. It does seem a bit dry… Maybe I need to oil it?
Added (1). Yes the spring is still intact

How to install/setup a Nikon D70 external flash?
So i bought an external flash for my D70 on ebay (brand is Seagull SG-100), but of course i bought it from China and the instructions are in Chinese LOL! I tightened it in on top of the camera where its supposed to go, but when i take a picture, the camera's internal flash cap keeps popping up half way and flashing, and the external flash won't flash. I'm deffinetely a begginer with photography, so please be as specific as possible, thanks in advance for any help!

Does a Quantaray 28mm f1.8 AF and a Nikon d5000 camera work together, properly?
I got the lens at a yard sale for 5 dollars. I wasn't sure if it'd work, but yeah. Will it do harm to my camera body? My camera is a nikon d5000.

New lenses for my Nikon d3100. Whatcha Think?
I have been doing research night after night even sometimes not going to sleep because i've been trying to decide which lenses i want to get for my newly purchased Nikon D3100 and i think i've boiled it down to 2. The first one i would like to purchase is the (769$) Tamron 70-200 2.8 i really like this lens because it has GREAT IQ and its proven to be really sharp at 2.8 and above compared to the Sigma version… The only thing bad about this lens is the poor auto focus which i think i can get used to. The next lens that i want to get is the (400$) Tamron 17-50 2.8 non vc for the main daily walk around lens because this lens is really sharp as well and it pretty much is a good upgrade to the kit lens for low light situations being it is a 2.8… These are just my pics feel free to recommend something else around the same price
Also i like to shoot a wide range of photography such as landscapes, portraits, some action (not really a biggie), some macro as well so i'm thinking this combo would be perfect for me for around right at 1000$ and i think i can do with out VC since the price difference is usually huge. I will be joining the navy in 2 months and as soon as i get out of basic training i wanna blog my experience and wanna have good images while doing it. Any advice is welcome Thanks

I have a Nikon D40 and the ad says for Pentax. It seems obvious, but I want to make sure.

Any thoughts on the Nikon D3100?
So, I'm looking at buying my first SLR camera, and thinking about the Nikon D3100. Any thoughts? Is it a good camera? Also, what lenses would you recommend I get?

Today I started getting blurred readings on the viewfinder of my nikon d5000?
The image in my viewfinder (Nikon D5000) including the digital display in the viewfinder is blurred. Also the autofocus is not working unless i use live-view.
Even when I take-off the lens (Nikon 18-105 VR) the image in my viewfinder is blurred including the readings display.
