What DSLR camera should I purchase?
I'm planning on purchasing a DSLR camera in the near future. I'm a little stuck contemplating between getting a Canon or a Nikon SLR. I'm trying to stay under the one thousand dollar budget but I've noticed it's really hard to get a really good one that's inexpensive. Buying the extra lenses and memory card, etc also cost more however if the camera is good enough then I guess it'd be worth it. I've taken a look at the Nikon D3100, if anyone is familiar with that model please let me know if it's a good choice. It's my first choice since I saw it for under $800 and some of my friends say it's reasonable. The other model I been speculating about is a Canon T3 Rebel. The T3i is a bit pricey so I guess I'm gonna stay away from that… Or, who knows maybe it's worth it? : /
I'm going to buy a Nikon D3100 off of Amazon.com The bundle deal I was looking at seemed pretty nice to, great for the amazingly cheap price as well. Can you tell me if it is actually a good deal? Anywhere else that has a better deal? I want the Nikon D3100, the 18-55mm lens and 70-300mm for sure. And do you know if this bundle in particular comes with the Nikon neck strap? Thanks so much.
Best lens for video on Nikon D3100?
I'd like to know a lens that is good for cinematic video on the d3100 dslr. I've heard the 50mm is good but I'm not sure it is the best and it does not zoom either.
Its been like weeks and i have been watching so many reviews to buy my first ever dslr. I made up my mind for the d3100. But i came across the dslr which is sony a33 which is like so much better than the d3100. But the problem is thatt people have made there minds to buy dslrs of canon and nikon. On the other hand sony dslrs offer so much more at the same price. Many ppl would answer saying sony have less lenses. But since i'm a begginer i don't care about lenses all i wnt is a kit lens and maybe later i will get a prime lens! I think sony is the best dslr company for begginers and budget. Do you guys agree with me or am i wrong?

It's not a out of focus thing, the camera is a Nikon D5000, and I've been a photographer for years. This is a recent problem and I've tried everything to fix it. Help?

Is purchasing this Nikon D60 worth it?
I have received an offer to buy a Nikon D60 purchased in 2009.
In 2009, it retailed for $650.
I have the opprotunity to purchase it for $150, with one lense.
1.In general, is this purchase worth it? Keeping in mind the age.
2. The only "cons" I have found online to this camera is that it has no live preview or video.
Would this be a good purchase or should I just invest in a new DLSR?
