Is there an adapter ring that goes from Nikon f-mount to a 58mm screw thread?

Long exposure without shutter release?
I have a Nikon D3100 and I want to take exposures over 30 seconds (The camera's limit), But I don't have a shutter release. Is there some sort of software I can get for my laptop that can act as a shutter release by using a USB cable from my camera to my laptop?

How to take a photo like this? - 1
I have a nikon d5000

What is the basic job of an 18-15mm lense? (Planning on buying my first DSLR)?
I'm planning on buying my first DSLR, a "Nikon D5100 16.2MP Digital SLR Camera with 18-55mm Lens & Extra 55-200mm Lens"
My knowledge of lenses is not that developed, I guess. Haha.
What is the purpose of the lenses and what can it do?
I have a friend who knows someone that currently owns a 18-55mm lense and can take clear, macro shots. However as I was doing my research, 18-15mm isn't necessarily "suitable" for macro shots. I hope I'm making some sort of sense. I prefer taking macro shots of objects with text and whatnot.

Okay, so after I dropped my Nikon D3100, I was checking my sensor to see if I could notice anything wrong with it. I took off the lens, set it to full manual/bulb mode, and flipped up the mirror to look at the sensor.
The thing is, I had the sensor facing a relatively bright ceiling light. I had the sensor exposed to the light for about 10 seconds. (Maybe less.)
Is my sensor burned? I took some test shots, but I can't tell if it's the sensor burn or just high ISO grain.

Continuous shooting won't work on nikon d70?
I've tried everything, I changed it to continuous mode, with the overlapping rectangles, i put the wheel on "S", i went to the menu to make sure the long exposure was off, but nothing seems to let me shoot continuously. I thought maybe the lens didn't support that function? It's a Sigma 18-125mm f/3.5-5.6

Battery Grip for Nikon D5000 not working?
I recently purchased a battery grip for my Nikon D5000, and can't get the vertical shutter button to work. I plugged the patch cable from the battery grip to the accessory input on the camera, and inserted the battery. The camera works fine with the battery grip, but the vertical shutter button on the grip doesn't seem to work. Is there some setting I need to do to get it to work?

My Nikon d90 camera has an flashing Err message on the top screen. When I half-press the shutter button, r13 comes up, and the mirror in the body won't stay up. I can't do anything with it, and the main LCD screen is always off. How do I fix it?
Added (1). The SD card is in the unlocked position, and resetting it doesn't work.

I'm looking to get a dslr camera ether nikon or canon. I'm between the nikon d7000 or d5100 or canon rebel t3i or 60d or 7d. I mostly take pictures for concerts and shows and some portraits and for fun outside or out at night. Also i want to start using hdr on pictures i also want to start recording movies.those are my uses for the camera i'm not sure what would be the best i'm trying to save money but get my moneys worth i looked online and found some used ones and good prices.
Added (1). Alright well down to the d7000 or canon 60d or 7d which is best for night i know the 60d probably will have the best for recording but i'm out at night a lot and wanna get the best pictures also the 7d might be a little to much for cost wise
