Can the Nikon d70, with only the body take photos?

Little confused because of the price. The body only is under $200, but the whole kit is about $800. Can I take decent photos with only the body?

Nikon D3100 lens broke?

I feel so stupid. It fell off of my table onto tile floor and it broke into three separate pieces. It is a 18-55 mm nikon lens. I linked the three pieces that it broke into, will it be able to be repaired, or should i just buy a new one? Is there a better lens (better quality) that i should get instead? The camera itself is perfectly fine, the lens suffered all the damage. I'm new at all this camera stuff so its all really confusing. Please don't be harsh i know i'm stupid.

What features is the Nikon D3100 missing?

I was reading some recent questions and saw someone mention that the D3100 is a "crippled" entry level DSLR with missing functions. What are they?

Nikon DSLR that will Autofocus with AF Nikkor 80-200mm f/2.8 lens?

I would like to purchase a Nikon DSLR that's compatible with my Dad's old AF Nikkor 80-200mm f/2.8 lens and I'm on a budget. I don't think it's worth it to purchase a Nikon DSLR body unless it will autofocus with this lens. I know that it won't autofocus with the D40, D40x, D60, D3000, D3100, etc.

Please pick a DSLR for me! - 1

I want my first DSLR to be easy to use. And it's video mode should be really nice too, it should be easy to capture videos. ( like you do on an iPhone) you press one button and it records videos, and everything is in focus, I don't want to manually focus which is hard. And I'm not serious about photography, just want to take good pictures when with friends and family. Just want best image quality possible on an entry level DSLR

Pentax K-R ( 18-55mm )
Nikon d3100 (18-55mm)
Sony a33. (18-55mm)
Sony nex 5 (18-55)
