Nikon D50 Photos fade to black?
I have a Nikon D50 and in every photo it fades to black at the bottom. What is causing this and how do I fix it?
P.S. This happens for all of my 3 lenses so it is probably the body.

My Nikon D5000 fell from about 4 feet high
While I was asleep my Nikon 5000 fell from around 4 feet into the floor and my 18-55mm lens came apart, now I was furious with my sister who some how she was in my room while I was taking a nap or so, so I'm checking it now, but looks like it's alright still takes pictures but I'm a little worried as to which my mind has already the thought that something isn't right. It's my first drop and I'm a little worried it might not function right, the eyeview is a little loose. Might have already been like that but it doesn't bother me, the inside is what matters the most for me the mirror what are some things I can check to make sure nothing is damaged, and if anyone knows. How long does a DSLR last if it's dropped?
Added (1). Actually when I attacked the lense if I hold it down and lean it to the side, the camera makes a "click" sound and when I look in the eye view it's a little dark.

Are old Nikon film lenses compatible with a Canon camera with an adapter?
My dad has one of the first Nikon DSLR camera's, the D70 and lots of old film lenses. The film lenses seem to be semi usable, but the light meter doesn't work. If I try to use flash, it won't take a picture. However, I have also seen that the compatibility varies from camera to camera. I have a very new Canon 7D, and I'm wondering how well his old lenses will work for me if I use a Nikon to Canon lens adapter. I heard that using those disables Auto Focus, but that's fine with me cause it's probably not compatible anyway! So does anyone have any experience with this?

Would these lenses fit my D60?
So i was at a flea market today and there was a booth full of camera stuff. There was a case with lots of nikon stuff and there were lots of old lenses. They were all lenses from the older film cameras (i don't know what kind any of them were) but my question was will any of the older lenses work with my nikon D60? I know they won't autofocus but they were pretty inexpensive for nikon lenses.

I want to become more serious in photography and want to start taking peoples senior photos,
i have a nikon d60 and a nikon 50mm f1.8 and the kit lens 18-55mm
i want to get one more lens and upgrade
but i don't know what lens to get and what dslr to upgrade to
i was thinking a nikon d7000

Does the Nikon 18-55 produce better quality images than Nikon 18-105?
My girlfriend has a D3100 with the 18-55… I have the D7000 with the 18-105… I have compared pictures I have taken with both and I think those taken with the D3100 are better…
Is it the lens as I'm sure the D7000 should be better than the D3100.
When I mean better I mean image quality only… The D3100 images look sharper and have more detail in them…
I took both sets of shots so it's not the photographer…

What's the biggest bang for the buck DSLR camera?
ALRIGHT…
I've done my research, looked through different lens types, where to buy, what the differences are between certain upgraded models. Before we spend the money, my dad wants to know ultimately pound for pound, ounce for ounce what is THE best DSLR camera to buy that is absolutely going to be worth every penny?
Things I'm looking for… I want a camera that can shoot great pictures, but also capture video. I like that the Nikon D5100 has the flip out view finder. That Rocks! However, I'm also looking for a camera that comes with an extra zoom lens (Is this really important to have or am I just crazy?) I feel like I like being able to get closer to my subjects and capture a shallow depth of field from further away, etc. Plus, D5100 is about 800 alone just for the body.
My other option is D3100, which doesn't have a flip out screen, but it cost just about the same as the D5100 would but includes memory card, and bag.http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Nikon+D3100+14.2MP+Digital+SLR+Camera%2C+Bag%2C+8GB+Memory+Card%2C+Extra+55-300mm+Lens/9999156300050033.p?id=pcmprd156200050033&skuId=9999156300050033&st=Nikon%20D3100&lp=6&cp=1

So which do I get?

Amateur photographer in need of
Hi, I looking for a good camera withing the $600-$1200 ( but preferably under $1000, so I can get some accessories) range. What would be a good camera? So far I'm thinking about these.
•Canon EOS Digital Rebel T3 DSLR Camera Kit with 18-55mm IS Lens & a Canon 75-300 Lens, 720P video, 12 megapixels
•Nikon D3100 DSLR Camera with 18-55mm VR Lens & Nikon 55-200mm VR Lens, 1080P video, 14 megapixels
•Panasonic Lumix GF2 Compact System Camer with 14-42mm Lens & a Panasonic 45-200mm Lens, 1080P video, 12 megapixels, touchscreen
Which would you get, or what's a better camera? Cheaper and more megapixels does not mean better.
Added (1). @ B. E.I. I have four 32 gb high-speed SDHC cards, a tripod; all I need is the lithium ion battery. Also, I'm buying these cameras from a camera store, not an electronic store. I have tried all 3 models and like all 3, I don't want a personal preference of brand. I need to gather opinions of these 3 models, or a recommendation of another model.
