Does a 18-55mm lens fit a Canon 60D?
I have a Nikon d3100 and i want to upgrade (is it worth it/good idea?) to a canon 60d.
I'm planning on selling my old camera. I want to keep the lens. Will it fit a Canon?

Will the 24-70mm Nikon AF on a D5100?

How is a 18-55 lens for panning?
I've just got my hands on my new Nikon D3100 which comes with a 18-55 kit lens. I was thinking of getting some traffic photographs using the panning technique. How will the 18-55 lens work for this?

Nikon 18-70mm or Nikon 18-105? Or another recommendation?
I'm looking into purchasing a refurbished/used one of these lenses. I'm going to assist in shooting a wedding for my aunt. Which of the two would be the best for me? I also am a casual photographer, I take pictures of people, nature, and street photography, or pretty much anything that interests me. I have an 18-55mm AFS VR already I got as part of my kit with my D5100. Please share any info or any other recommendations!

Which DSLR camera's of Nikon and Canon have auto focus with in the camera Body?
I'm planning to buy an entry level DSLR like Nikon D3100 or Canon 1100D with a telephoto zoom lens. But I'm stuck hearing that all the Nikon dslr's don't have the focus motor with the body, hence the Lens would be expensive! Also, I heard that all canon DSLRs come with built in motor. Please shed some light on this matter. The more the answer gets explanatory the better as I'm new to this field!

What lens to buy for Nikon D3000?
My husband wants a new lens for Nikon D3000, he wants a lens that zooms better than the one he has AF-S Nikkor 18-55mm.
He wants one that will auto focus, not manually… Please help

What do you think?

Never mind the small price difference, which is the most lasting camera with the best image quality the Nikon d3200 or canon t2i? I would love either camera, but the canon t2i maybe soon discontinued because of the new canon t4i announcement. I want the latest technology not something discontinued. I would also love the 24MP Nikon, but a lot of people claim the images aren't truly better and that the low light performance is bad. I just want a good entry dslr with good video and great image performance. Which one is overall the better lasting camera?

Is the Canon 550D good for film?
I bought a Nikon D3100 as my first SLR but I'm not very impressed with the video quality as it's only 12MP. I really want the Canon 7D because it films nicely but I think it's better off to go with the Canon 550D and buy a nice lens. Is there much difference between the video quality of the 7D to the 550D? Or they basically the same?
