Nikkor 24-85mm f/2.8-4 vs Nikkor 24-70mm f/2.8?
Why is the 24-70mm significantly more expensive than the 24-85mm? What features make the 24-70mm more expensive? I want to invest in a good-quality FX lens, along with a decent DSLR body like the D5100. Will that work?

I want to purchase the Nikon D7000, but am having trouble deciding on which lens to purchase. I did some research, and heard that FX lenses are better in the long run, not only for their quality, but also for their versatility, because they can be mounted onto a DX camera body without any cropping. Why do my pictures come out dark?
I recently received a Nikon D5100 for my birthday and have enjoyed it very much with no problems at all, except for when I switch lenses. My dad has lenses from his old Nikon N80 which fit my camera. The only one that I have had a problem with is the macro lens. The pictures come out very dark. I have tried adjusting the apature and the exposure time. Any reason for why that is?

How to wipe an SD card clean on a Nikon d5100?
This is a card that I have used on two different Nikons. I forgot to wipe it on my d3000, so now I only have deleted the pictures that I took on the d5100 because that's the only camera I have with me at the moment. I do not have access to a computer.
