What are some cheap, high quality digital cameras?
I'm looking for a digital camera that is cheap and takes high quality pictures. I'm leaning towards Canon and Nikon since I have had them in the past. I currently have a Panasonic Lumix that I'm not happy with at all. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
I want to get a good camera, but I want one that is easy to use. I don't really want a digital camera, because i like the feel of a slr. Does anyone know a good, possibly canon or nikon that is around $250-$350 and is a good starter camera.
Which brand is better when its come to DSLR cameras? Nikon, Sony or Canon?

I have a nikon cool pix p100, it is a very good camera and i'm happy with it but i'm looking for a DSLR. I'm looking for a camera with interchangeable lenses, very good picture quality, either a full frame or APS-C sensor, video capture is not a need at all, a reasonable price, and along with interchangeable lenses, a large variety of lenses.
I like to do lots of macro photographs so i would like a camera that is good for macro's.
Should I spend more and get a better brand camera?

Any Nikon Wide Angle Lens recommendations?

I'm looking to get a wide angle lens, preferably w/ zoom…
Any suggestions?
I got fed up carrying around a big dslr lke the Canon XTI?
And my crappy little Kodak m530 was exactly what I thought, a cheap point and shoot so I'm thinking about going with the EVIL camera by Sony, nex 5 or nex 3, local futureshop canda has a 300 savings on the nex 3 incuding an extra lens, I really don't need a nex 5 because I do not own a HD tv, anyone have any experience with these camera, I'm a budding amateur photographer and have been told I have a knack for it but should I go with the Nikon 3100 or the Sony nex
What digital camera has the fastest shot to shot speed? Low end DLSR or high end P&S?
After the mess of trying to take shots of the kids opening gifts and running around, i've had it with our cheap Nikon cool pics camera. Almost every shot is blurry or it takes so long to get to be able to take the next shot, i've missed it alltogether. Not really looking to get into a complicated DLSR, but a hybrid that is larger than the point and shoot are fine.
