Between nikon and canon DSLR camera?
For about 3 years.i've been using canon 1000D. This camera is suitable for a beginner,
now, i wanted to buy a new dslr camera. I already know how to use dslr camera.
which one should i buy? What model is the best? Canon or nikon is the best?
I currently own a Canon t1i dslr but i would like to sell it and buy a Nikon model. I regret not have done much research before I purchased it, and I have realized that I do like the Nikon models much more. I just have no idea how to sell my camera. I'm not experienced with the process, and I don't know what to do. Any help?

Nikon an Canon make great cameras but when it comes down to it there are more then just those two company's so i've recently went looking more into cameras an i have choose to look at a few others including a canon
1)Panasonic Lumix DMC-G2- anyone ever use this? Pros? Cons?
2)Olympus Evolt E420- anyone ever use this? Pros? Cons?
3)Canon EOS Rebel XS- anyone ever use this? Pros? Cons?

I was at the gun range the other day?
Testing out my new 10 22 target AR style rifle and I noticed that a lot of people had rugers also. One guy had the same scope as me a Nikon Rimfire 4X, except he added flip up caps. Like lens covers that you can flip up while at the range and then flip down when your packing up to leave. I was wondering what brands would be ideal to fit on the Nikon rimfire scope because I don't think they we're Nikon brand.

Will lens adapter ring with optic restrict light?
I have several M42 screw mount lenses, fast and old but still good. Of course they won't fit my new Nikon DSLR, so I was looking at the adapter rings, specifically the ones with the glass optic that allows the lens to still focus to infinity. (Otherwise, a simple adapter moves the lens away from the focusing area, preventing infinity.) Anyone have any experience with them? Does the ring's optic restrict the amount of light passing through when using a fast lens?

i've went to local shops and they have recommended Nikon's and cannons which i agree.
they have suggested the nikon D500
and the D5000- with the swivel screen.

Which digital camera would you go with?
I'm looking to get my first digital camera and I do not know very much about them. My price range is $100-$150 and I plan on getting the best camera I can get for that range.
At Best Buy I played with the cameras in that range and out of all of them, I really liked the Sony DSC-W350.It took the best pictures, was very fast, took great HD video, and had a ton of features and settings.
My only problem is that I have been reading online and people have nothing but negative things to say about Sony. And they talk about Nikon and Canon as if they are the best. What is so bad about Sony? The Canon's I'm not interested in because they are too pricey and I have been told they are difficult to use. The Nikon's I played with felt cheap and took lousy pictures. Also, the sales rep at Best Buy said the Samsung cameras in that range are the best; but they were my least favorite.
So, tell me what is the best digital camera in my range? What do you think of Sony, Nikon, and Samsung? And more specifically, what do you think of the Sony DSC-W350 or the W330? Which one of those two would you go with?
I just changed and put in new film and a new battery, so it is not either of those. My camera will not take a picture, and i don't know what the problem is.
