Getting a new camera soon i found one i like and its NIKON so i just wanna know if its a good camera brand

Would a CPL be the best solution to mimic Nikon's D-Lighting on a Canon?
The ALO and HTP don't seem to make a difference in my Canon T1i. I just want to know if it would be a good idea to get a CPL filter. Also, if it wouldn't be a problem to mount both CPL and UV on the lens.
Another question, would a CPL only be most useful on a wide-angle lens? I have a 50mm and a long telephoto too and was wondering if I should get a step-up ring for it.
What camera should i consider getting?
I prefer Nikon, or Canon. But whichever will fit my standards the most is fine i guess too.
I would love for it to be underwater, but also take beautiful out of water pictures.

So i'm looking to buy a camera, i recently bought a nikon s3100 and the image quality was not up to par, and so i returned it in search for a new one looking at this Fujifilm Finepix JX310, but as of yet i have not found any information about it, only a Fujifilm Finepix JX300, which might be previous are they the same?

My SD card won't work with my new camera
I've just bought a new nikon L110 camera and i already had a sd card at home so i didn't think of buying a new one, when i got home i tried putting the sd card in the slot in my camera and when i turn it on a message comes up saying 'card can't be read' then my camera turns off. What does this mean? My sd card is 1.0GB
Fashion photography as a career?
Since I was a little kid, I've always wanted to become a fashion photographer. I grew up in a family who really loves photography. As a kid, I spent my time studying my dad's Nikon SLR and take pictures. Now that I'm 16 and going to college, my mom doesn't want me to get photography as my career but I can't picture my self doing something other than photography but Its ok with her if I will study fashion photography after having a job. I love photography, as a teen, I spent my time going to the library, researching about photography, I take pictures and play with lights and everything that is connected with photography.
I'm planning to go to Academy of Art University after taking physical therapy in a university in Cali. My dream is to become a fashion photographer ever since. What are your suggestions or what do you think about my idea of being a fashion photographer?

I have a Nikon F Classic film camera that my grandfather gave to me as a gift. I have been working as a videographer/photographer and really like the new DSLR's. How much can this Nikon F Classic be sold for on the market today? Or would it be best to trade with someone who'd want this old fashioned classic camera for a new technology?
