Fujifilm Finepix JX310?
So i'm looking to buy a camera, i recently bought a nikon s3100 and the image quality was not up to par, and so i returned it in search for a new one looking at this Fujifilm Finepix JX310, but as of yet i have not found any information about it, only a Fujifilm Finepix JX300, which might be previous are they the same?
I bought a Fujifilm recently and right now I'm thinking about switching it for a Nikon just because I thought Nikon might have better structured and quality cameras from what I've heard.
Fujifilm Finepix JX310 is Compact, easy to use, versatile (love the zoom), relatively cheap (if it got lost/stolen). We have a fancier "nice" BIG camera that is too much of a pain to pack around on vacation… This camera's pocket size is AWESOME! Takes GREAT pictures.
I bought the JX310 today and it isn't half-bad. I just wanted something cheap that took good pictures, and if you don't have professional expectations then the 310 may be for you. I'll admit I do not like the power button or the method of charging. (the power button is small and shaped weird so it can be hard to turn on at times if you have big fingers). As far as charging goes, you have to take the battery out and put it on a charger. I've been playing with it all day and one thing that bothers me is when the flash is used indoors, the pictures came out real grainy. So I normally don't use it. The flash also makes a weird… Bug zap like sound. You also shouldn't have your finger on top of it. I made that mistake and it kind of burnt me. Not bad, but if you're not expecting it, it comes as a shock. The flash also needs a second or two to recharge. Unless something goes wrong with it, I won't be returning it because it is a decent camera for the price.
edit: I'm looking at my pictures on the computer. The ones I took with the flash look better than the ones without. It must have just been the little viewing screen on the camera that made them look bad.
