So my dad told me sometime this month were getting a really nice nikon camera.
I was wondering which one you guys thinks you guys work the best on and what color comes out fair and beautiful?
Please under 1500.
I really like this Canon EOS 5d Mark II. Seems expensive: l

It doesn't matter if what you're holding is a $42, 000 60MP Hasselblad H4D-60 or a $250 6MP secondhand Pentax ist DS. Picture quality depends on your ability as a photographer. It is highly possible for the ist DS to get a much superior shot over the H4D-60 under certain unique conditions.

We won't compare a $3000 Canon with an "under $1500" Nikon here.

I've been shooting Nikon since my Nikkormat FTn in the 1970's. I've since moved through several Nikon 35mm film SLR's (FM, FE, N2000, N60, N65, N4004) and have gone though a range of Nikon digital DSLR's (D50, D70, D200, D300).

I've never had a Nikon fail me. And the remarkable thing about the Nikon system, is that I can still use every Nikon mount lens I've ever had on my lastest Nikon DSLR. They make a wide range of camera, from entry-level D3100's to the fashion and wedding photographer's tool, the D3x. NASA regularly chooses Nikon for it's space missons.

Now, as for suggestions under $1, 500, I'd look at the Nikon D7000.

Here's nearly 4 million photos taken by D7000's for you to examine.
