Nikon vs Canon for filmmaking?
I'm looking for a DSLR camera for filmmaking… Any advice?
What is ISO (in the context of cameras)?
To be more specific, I have a professional SONY Z5 video camera, not a DSLR Nikon/Canon camera. Does ISO relate anyway to my type of camera? And if so, how can I alter it?
Nikon N70 film camera ghosting pictures?
I've just been experimenting with this camera. I lost the manual and found an old one online. Every once in awhile it will ghost my pictures and I was just trying to figure out which setting in the variable program is doing that or if its something else.

Looking for a new digital camera?
I'm looking into buying a new digital camera. I'm thinking Nikon or Cannon, but all suggestions are appreciated. I really just want it for a small hobby, not a big investment. My budget is $250, and I'd like to buy in a store not online. One thing I defiantly need is good focusing (sorry if I'm using the wrong terms, I'm not very experienced.) Just something that will take nice, clear photos without being too complicated. I also would like a colored camera (preferably red, blue or green) but it's not a deal breaker.

What is wrong with my Nikon N8008s film camera?
I just put some new film in and when i went to look in the little look-whole (i don't know what its called) i couldnt see anything. Its like the lense is closed but its not.however, what i can see on the little screen in the little look -whole is an "x" then it says: P Lo F 3.8
what does that mean?
What is portrait mode in camera?
I think it works by focusing the subject while blurring the background (from Canon). But when I've tried portrait mode on my nikon, the background is not blurred. Why? Is there different functions of portrait mode in every other camera?
Good Camera for Photography of People and Portraits?
I'm interested in buying a digital SLR camera to mainly take pictures of people, rather than landscapes or fast-moving objects. I want a nice "amateur" camera that I can start off with, rather than a fancy and high-tech, $2, 000 camera. Money-wise I'd like something in the hundreds range, not going into the thousands. As I'll say again, the purpose of the camera is to take pictures of full-length body, 3/4, and head shots. I'd like one with good color and quality and that can be easily used and transferred onto a computer, not something EXTREMELY basic, for I have experience with a lot of technology, but something kind of amateur.
