Nikon 3100d, Pentax k-r, or Canon 550d
I've now been using a dirt-cheap bridge camera for 2 years, started As photography at college this year, and i think its time for a big upgrade! I have narrowed down to the 3 cameras above and have a max.budget of £550, i think the best idea is to get a second hand body and get descent accessories later, i like the nikon 3100d because it seems to be a popular DSLR and specs aren't too bad, Penatx kr because it's fast, colours are good but i don't think ISO performance is great! Whereas canon 550d, isn't that fast but i think its got a much better ISO performance. Please Help! And feel free to give me more cameras to have a look at, Thank you!
Is my Nikon SB600 Speedlight broken? (VIDEO PROVIDED)?
When attached to my camera, it doesn't respond to my settings. When I attempt to alter the settings or turn the flash off, the screen turns completely blank and returns to normal shortly after.
I've provided a video that shows my attempts to alter the settings. I'm not sure if my batteries are too slow/messed up, if my flash settings have been changed in some way or if it is just broken. I'm not experienced with this flash so I'm not 100% sure on its functions.
Is the nikon 1 camera like a proffesional camera?
Does it take pictures like a proffesional camera but its just portable and easier to use?
What the last SLR camera from canon and nikon?
What is currently the best Nikon camera that takes really clear/vivid pictures and videos?
I'm looking for a really good professional quality camera that takes really vivid/clear pictures and videos, like HD videos. Any price range is fine, I know I'll spend quite a bit on a good camera and if you have over good camera brands in mind that would help a well!
What's is a high quality camera under $600 that can record video and pictures?
I have been searching around trying to find myself a new camera.
I've always loved photography, but have never had a HD type camera.
Plus I want to be able to take video with it…
My price ranged is under $600, and I want to be able to buy it from a store, not online.
Canon and Nikon are manly what I've come across for high quality, but if you have any other suggestions, please feel free and let me know! It would be much appreciated!
I have broke my lens and my nikon warranty doesn't cover acciedental damage what should I do? I have contacted nikon and they say I should bring it in to the official Nikon aproved centers. Now I think that will cost of few quid. Is it safe to bring it into a camera shop e.g. Jessops/mathers. Will they fix it well and will it affect the warranty. I just want your advice on what I should do: official nikon repair centers or normal camera shop.
Recommended Canon/Nikon DSLR's for 800$ or under?
I'm getting a new camera and have been doing research but I was curious as to what the people on answers would have to say. I'm an amateur photographer but that doesn't mean I only want very simple functioning cameras suggested. I've heard that Canon's are easier to use and figure out, however that is not a deciding factor for me.
I'm considering buying a new camera, which one would you buy?
I'm looking at a canon 550d (rebel T2i) or a 600d (rebel T3i).So between the both which one would you prefer and why. Thanks in advance.
If people answer, neither or get a nikon instead, will be ignored.
Added (1). Jim A, i've been into photography for years and also own a 500d, but i have recently come into a large amount of money and i'm thinking about getting a new dslr, the 500d as you say is a good camera, but mine is quite old now so thats why i'm thinking of buying a new one. I just wanted peoples opinions on the said dslr's.
Looking to get a DSLR camera. Not sure whether to get a Nikon or a Canon (Or any other nice brand) Whether one of them is better or if it just depends on how you like the camera. I'm willing to spend about 700 hundred dollars. I just recently started selling my photographs and feel it's time to upgrade.
Any info would be appreciated.
Thank you!
Added (1). No one is forced to answer questions btw. Just thought I'd throw that out there.
