Did I get a good deal on this camera?
Today, I bought a Nikon N60 (35mm camera) with a Quantaray 28-90mm lens at a thrift store. It also came with 4 Nikon filters. I got the whole package for $89. I don't really know anything about cameras, so I was just wondering if I got a good deal!

What would you say?
I purchased a used vintage nikon n2020 and the curtain seems to be broken because it won't open and the blades appear to be bent out of shape and when i depress the shutter release button (set on bulb) and look at the curtain it bends out of shape even more. I was wondering if this is a small fix or if my camera is doomed or where i can go for help, thanks!
Added (1). Would it be worth it to possibly buy a body for parts and try and replace the curtain myself? And yes haha it was a good deal on ebay and the pictures were very detailed and convincing.
Photography.for the most dumbest dummy?
I know NOTHING about photography. AT ALL. I'm hardly paying rent, but I still want a hobby. My aunt used to do photography, and I want to know the basics? Canon or Nikon? What about lenses? And lighting! Ugh I want to solve this mystery!

I'm 16 years old and i'm going off to college pretty soon. I want to study mainly Fashion Photography but any type of photography is fine. I'm getting my first Nikon Camera soon to actually practice more and get better photos than my little kodak camera: p if you have any tips you could give me that'd be great!
Why does my Nikon D4000 change fstops and shutter speed after I take a picture?
I'm new to photography and I have possibly the worst instructor ever. Anyways, I'm using my friends' Nikon D4000 dslr. After I get the light meter reading and take the picture the fstops and shutter speed changes from what I had it on. Like I take the picture at what I set it at, right after the picture takes the numbers change. What the heck is going on? I'm already confused and now this… Help?!
