Tips for fashion photography?

I'm 16 years old and i'm going off to college pretty soon. I want to study mainly Fashion Photography but any type of photography is fine. I'm getting my first Nikon Camera soon to actually practice more and get better photos than my little kodak camera: p if you have any tips you could give me that'd be great!

It's great but I'll say if you can afford the extra attachments that comes along with the camera then get it they are great in having a extra edge to your pic.
