Nikon D300 Memory Card Full and Empty?
Well i have a nikon D300 and when i put a memory card in it blinks "Full" and it says it has 0 pictures they both blink at the same time can someone tell me how to fix or how to reset the camera or something!

My girlfriend is all pissed off because she did something to her nikon settings so it isn't taking pictures the same anymore. Its taking a few seconds to snap the picture and it seems like the colors are different. It also doesn't make the noises it used to make when we took pictures. Anyone know what to do like if there's a rest settings button or something? I tried holding down the two buttons but it seems like that didn't work.

Britek HS-1000 won't work with Nikon D100 and D50?
I just a bought a set of Britek light strobes and sometimes they will work with my D50 and D100. I'm using a wireless trigger (Microsync) which works perfectly when I press the test button on the microsync. In both cameras, the strobe works sometimes and sometimes not, for no apparent reason, I have tried manual, auto mode, with cords, wireless…
Even the strobe won't work when I press the test button on the actual strobe… Weird.
Please help me if you have any idea… I read someone having the same problem with a D50 and a different Britek strobe. Thanks!
Added (1). FIXED! I found out that Nikon has a lot of hotshoe problems… Anyway, I scraped the metal contacts on the hotshoe very lightly with a pocket knife and voilá! It works perfect now…
In my case it seems like it was a bad connection problem.

How to deal with the noise shooting Nikon D300 in RAW?
I'm quite unhappy with my images taken with my Nikon D300 using the RAW picture format. Also, I can't find the proper work-flow in Adobe Lightroom 3 in order to get rid of the noise. I only wanted to shoot in RAW and develop it in LR3 to send it to client instead of shooting RAW and Jpeg.
1. What shall be the shooting setting in my camera to minimize or remove noise in my pictures to get that crispy clear pictures?
2. What is the best work flow to develop RAW pictures in Adobe Lightroom 3 in order to remove noise in my pictures?
Happy and I appreciate every help.

Need Nikon D100 Battery and Charger?
It's an oldie - I need an MH-18 charger and a EN-EL3 battery. All I'm getting is hits for an EN-EL3E battery. I can't tell if it is the same battery. No descriptions mention the D100.
from this link it appears that I can only find the Mh-18a charger.
Can anyone confirm compatibility with the D100?

Would a nikon d200 be a good upgrade from a d3000? Or should I just get a d90?
Upgrading soon. Also thinking about the d5100? The d200 seems the most professional.

Compact flash won't work on the computer?
I have a Nikon D1x and I don't have the camera cord so I have to use the compact flash card. I put the cf card in my computer and it reads it, but it keeps saying it needs to be formatted (I've formatted it several times on my camera) but when I try to format it on the computer it says "windows was unable to format". Then when I go to "My computer" and click on the removable disk for the card it shows a file named "DCII" and I can't open it. There's some sort of error. Then my computers unable to read it at all unless I restart my computer. Its a brand new card. Any suggestions on what to do?

I have a Nikon D300 and am having problems figuring it out. Does anyone have suggestions?
I love my Nikon D300, which I purchased a year ago. The instructions seem to be a little confusing on this camera. Was wondering if anyone knew of a place to go to find some better instructions or tutorial videos.

Do most wedding photographers shoot RAW or JPEG? - MORE RELATED Q's BELOW -?
1) What about other busy, relatively high-volume professionals shooting sports, commercial photography, news, etc?
2) To what extent can those who are skilled in Photoshop "get away with" [in their professional work] occasional, low-level to moderate-level post-processing of JPEGs?
3) Ideally, I know RAW is recommended… But suppose I have some JEGS [shot with Nikon D5100 "Large" size, "Fine" quality] that could use a little post-processing [nothing drastic, just moderate-level adjustment of white-balance, contrast, some shadow lightning, minor noise reduction, sharpening, etc -- Generally speaking, will trying to post-process a JPEG generally do more good than harm, or do more harm than good?
4) If there are "tips and tricks" to post-processing JPEGs as opposed to RAWs, where would I find them?
5) Are the differences in the quality of the in-camera JPEG-processors of leading DX cameras [Nikon D7000/D300, Canon 60D/7D, Pentax K-5] somewhat significant or pretty minor?
