Using 2 Camera Bodies, which one is more like it?
Let's say it's for Portrait & Wedding Photography
Choose 1 only
1. Nikon D700 & Canon 5D Mk II
2. Nikon D700 & Nikon D7000
3. Nikon D700 X 2
4. Canon 5D Mk II & Nikon D7000
5. Canon 5D Mk II & Canon 60D
6. Canon 5D Mk II X 2
you can tell the reason with lenses as well…
For some reason, i don't think combination of D700 & Canon 60D is not good enough, but you can choose if you got the reason…

What are some good lenses for the Nikon D700?
Preferably for portraits and modeling clothes.
Any help is appreciated - thanks.

Would it be better to buy a nikon D200, or D2x or just buy a new d90?

How to know what lenses will fit a nikon d40?
Hi, I'm buying a nikon d40 and want to know if the lens I currently have will fit it. It is a tokina AT-X 270af PRO II. I currently have it on a nikon d1, and it says that it's made for nikons but since it's older I didn't know if the mounting had changed?

So, I have a Canon SX 20 IS, that's about 8 months old, and yesterday something happened and I've found out that the lens needs to be replaced. This is gonna cost about $80-$158. Minus the cost, I'm leaving to France tomorrow and I need a camera, and since my Canon barely zooms, there's no point of bringing it with.
I was looking at cameras that are near in the same price range. There's a Canon SX 30 and a Nikon D300.
Which camera is better to get? They're more or less in te same price range.
And as for my SX 20, is it better to pay for the lens replacement or to just get a new one?

Do point and shoot cameras also have limited shutter cycle like DSLR cameras?
I have a Sony DSC-H20 point and shoot camera. What is the maximum number of shutter actuation on this camera (if it has such thing like their DSLR counterparts) like Nikon D3s has 300, 00 cycles, D90 has 100, 000 cycle etc?

Tokina 28-70mm at-x pro f2.8 or sigma 18-50mm f2.8-4.5 DC OS HSM?
I'm very tempted to sell my Tokina 28-70mm f2.8 lens to get this sigma 18-50mm f2.8-4.5 with Optical Stabilisation. I'm using a Nikon D200 and wants to use a lens that is perfect for all around, can you please help me decide? This tokina 28-70mm f2.8 constant is very soft wide open and doesn't have a VR, I'm planning to use a lens that is good for portrait (I'm wanting to shoot a wedding as well). The reason I'm wanting this sigma 18-50mm f2.8-4.5 is because it has Optical Stabilisation and the aperture is better than the kit lens, now can you tell me if I'm stupid ever thinking of replacing this lens with this new sigma 18-50mm OS?
I will appreciate any opinions you can provide me. I will decide based on your opinions.

Off camera flash photography with Quantaray flash?
Quantaray flash qdc 900wa <--- is the model flash I have. I have a Nikon D300 and would like to trigger the flash off camera with a cowboy studio trigger and receiver. I tested the trigger system with my girlfriends Nikon SB-600 and it works smartly. Unfortunately this can't be said for the quantaray. Is there a setting I'm unaware of to execute this? Any help would be appreciated.

Nikon 24-70mm or 17-55mm for D7000?
Quick question; I have a D7000 and am unsure whether I should purchase the 24-70mm or 17-55mm. I know you might say that it mainly depends on what I wanna shoot… Mainly outdoor family portraits, the occasion wedding (with other lenses of course)…
Producing the best quality images is a priority for me. How do the lenses compare?
I plan on purchasing the D700 in the future but it won't be for a while… Maybe 18-24 months.

I have a Nikon D200 & a Canon 350D.
