I need a faster lenses for low light concert photography.any suggestions? - 1
I'm in need of a faster lenses for taking photographs in low light. I'm not a fan of flash photography but I often shoot in low light. Lately I have been taking photos of local bands… Who come out blurry in my shots. I have a nikon D300. I'm also a college student, so I can't afford something too expensive.
I will happy to have any tips or suggestions.

Added (1). I can be close or far away. I have a 55-200mm that I was using before but it wasn't fast enough. I was looking at the 35mm f/1.8. I also did have my iso cranked up

Nikon in August 2011, what will they announce?
OK the rumor maybe heard the most is nikon, but i'm quite sure the others like canon, sony, olympus, or even pentax won't stay calm this 24th of august. So just as your own opinion, what do you think they will announce?
I gotta say, it's gonna be important, since from my own calculation, it's quite predictable that at least the replacement for D3S, D300s, or D700 should be announced, since:
1. D3X and D700 pretty much sold out in most of the store
2. They don't have a competing-able (sorry bad english) video feature against canon
3. Rumor of company problem (closed manufacturer in japan, moving to malaysia, etc) may affect their market
So what do you think? Since it's just a rumor, just take it easy, but i'm really concern too, since i have to decide soon: nikon or canon…
I'm wondering if this MC 80 mm Tilt & Shift Nikon lens will fit on one of my cameras (Nikon D60 D5000 or the D300s). I'm unfamiliar with the Nikon AI mounting type. A simple yes or no and a brief explanation of the Nikon AI mounting type difference would be appreciated.
